*Frisk's POV*
There was the hotel.
The hotel I named the hotel of sweet dreams and nightmares.
That, of course, comes later.
At the time, G and I stared up at it with wide eyes full of interest and excitement, each of us full of expectation for what could be inside.
Well, that's why I was excited.
Yet G looked at the sign on the door that read: MONSTERS ONLY.
My excitement dropped into a slump and I glowered as G chuckled.
"Well dollface," He smirked, "Looks like we have to find you a costume."
"A costume? Come on G, it's not Halloween. No one is going to believe a costume. Besides, you got money for this place?"
G rolled his eyes, which filled me with annoyance and I glared away so I didn't have to look at his smirk.
"I don't need money, sweetheart," From his tone of voice, I knew what he was planing.
The next thing I knew, we were inside the hotel at the check in desk and G was laughing with someone who seemed to be a very old friend.
As a fact, the person said himself, "It's very good to see you old friend."
His voice matched his appearance: Flickering and mysterious like the flames that engulfed him.
The monsters voice sounded as if it was stroking an animal, as if it was just a tender flame for warmth, that was too afraid to get close to anyone, too afraid to burn them.
"Nice to see ya Grillby," G said with a smirk.
Yet his smirk seemed friendly, more of a honest smile.
Not like the smirk he uses when he teases and annoys me.
Something in me wanted him to smile at me like that, wanted him to be just as kind.
Was that feeling the same feeling that wanted me to be friends with G?
The thought caused me to jump back at myself in shock.
'Friends?! With G?! As if!' I told myself in my head, forcing myself to believe I didn't want that.
When it worked, I looked away from G and his friend making sure the feeling didn't come back.
Though I listened to their conversation, and I could hear the monster named Grillby say, "I thought you were in prison... don't tell me you escaped again..."
"Eh. Come on Grillby, you knew it would happen eventually."
"I did..." Grillby slurred in a gentleman voice, causing me to be lured in.
Just like the beauty of a flame.
I looked at him while he wrote in the registration book, writing the clearest and most elegant 'G' I had ever seen.
How could a wonderful monster like this had been friends with G?
That wasn't the only thing that baffled me, I also wondered how he got around and touched things without them catching fire.
The urge of curiosity ached me again, and my mind flicked back to the letter.
So did my eyes, and the regret held me back from asking Grillby.
"Though it appears you have another with you..." Grillby continued, his white blank eyes turning to me.
As I stared at them, I felt the heat of his flames seemed to be stronger, and I could see the intense and logical emotion that burned inside him.
