*Chapter 19* *Niall's POV*

I woke up adruptly to the sound of my alarm clock. I banged on the off button until it finially shut off. I slowly pulled myself out of bed and rubbed my eyes. "Niall?" Cassie whispered. "Sorry babe. I didnt mean to wake you. I have rehearsals today so i will be back later" i said and kissed her forehead.

I walked downstairs just as the doorbell rang. I quickly slipped my shirt on and opened the door. "Hey Niall" Harry said as he walked inside. "You ready?" He asked and i nodded, grabbing my phone before leaving.

I climbed into the car and buckled my seatbelt. "So are you ready for the tour? We leave tomorrow remember? And after a few days we get a little break and then we're gone for about 2 months until our next break." Harry rambled on as he started the car. "I know. I guess im ready." i say and watched as we pulled away from the apartment. "You dont seem very sure" he said and i shrugged. "Im excited its just...im gonna miss Cassie" His expression became sad and he nodded. "Yeah. I understand."

"The story of my life, i take her home. I drive all night, to keep her warm and time..is fro oh oh oh oh zen." The 5 of us sang and fooled around onstage as usual.

As we finished rehearsing i checked my phone.

Nothing.

Why hasn't Cassie texted me?

I found her contact and decided to text her.

Hey Babe. Just finished rehearsals. The boys and i are going to play some football for a while. Ill be home before dinner. Love u!

I pressed send and put my phone in my pocket. "You okay?" Louis asked and i nodded as i followed him and the other boys.

"NIALL!!!!" I heard fans scream as i walked out onto the field. I smiled and waved as i walked towards the other lads. Louis and Liam were passing the ball and Zayn was just standing there on his phone, as usual. I looked around for Harry and found him over at the gate, talking and taking pictures with the fans. I took out my phone and checked to see if Cassie texted me back. But again, no response.

I sighed and ran, stealing the ball from Louis. "Whatchya gonna do Tommo?!" I called to him. He smiled and ran after me.

*Cassie's POV*

My phone buzzed in my pocket as i stepped out of the car. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw it was a text from Niall.

Hey Babe. Just finished rehearsals. The boys and i are going to play some football for a while. Ill be home before dinner. Love u!

I smiled at my screen and clicked the reply button. As i began to type i heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw my Aunt.

"Hi Aunt Lucy" i greeted her with a hug. "Hi sweetheart. My how you've grown." she says to me with a smile.

I havent seen my Aunt for a while or Mike. Its just hard with Mike being a kid and stuff so he's always doing something.

Oh man, how i miss my little brother.

I watched her gaze as her eyes landed on my engagment ring. "Wow. Now isnt that gorgeous" she says as i lift my hand to show her.

"So are you ready to get married?" she asked me as we sit down at the table. i nodded with excited. "Yes. I am so excited!" i squealed which made her laugh. "Did you guys decide on anything?" her long fingers reached for her drink as she sipped her tea. "Well. Not really. Niall has been busy getting ready for their tour." i told her, remembering about Niall's text. I picked up my phone and texted him back before focusing my attention back on my Aunt.

*Niall's POV*

I walked into the apartment as my phone vibrated in my hand. I looked at the screen where a name was shown.

Cassie

A smile came to my lips as i read the text aloud.

Hey Nialler. Sorry I havent texted you until now. I've been spending some time with my Aunt. Be home soon. Love u <3

I replied with an "ok" and a smiley face.

I placed my phone on the table and opened the fridge. I grabbed a water bottle and took a sip. I sat down on the couch and flipped through the channels. My eyes began to close when i heard the door open.

"Im home!" my beautiful fiance say as she came through the door. "Hi babe. How was your day?" i ask her before giving her a quick kiss. "It was fun. i went for some tea with Aunt Lucy and we caught up on stuff. How was rehearsal?" she asked me. "Ya know. The usual. Us guys fooling around. Nothing new" i said and she giggled. "Ya know Nialler. We havent really discused wedding plans" she says and i smirk. "oh yeah" i say and kiss her nose. "Maybe we can discuss it over a romatic dinner?" i tell her which brings a smile to her face. She nodds and stands up on her tiptoes as she wraps her arms around my neck. She kisses me then lays her head against my chest.

Moments like this make me realize how lucky i am. I have the best job in the world and im marrying my best friend. Nothing. And i mean nothing, could be better than this.
