INTRODUCTION
Six months after the failed wedding, Dr. Hoying had gone through twelve interns after Kirstie had left for Iraq. But a new adventure was waiting to be found by the team...
Three teenagers rode home from a party, one which had a lot of drinking. However, the designated driver in the front was totally sober. The two in the back? Not so much. This didn't keep the driver from trying to talk to them.
"...What I'm saying is, in this world there are the 'visercal' and the 'ineffable'-" he commented.
The girl in the back giggled. "Nobody's totally UN-eff-able!" She continued to giggle as the guy next to her laughed as well.
"Hah, Virgins are! I mean, you are like the total opposite of UN-effable, though, baby." They smiled and sloppily kissed. The driver shook his head.
"IN-effable! IN! And it doesn't mean what you think. It means, like, you can't describe it in words." He retorted back. The girl looked back up at him.
"Describe what? That life sucks?" She said seriously, or as seriously as she could, and the guy snorted.
The driver, however, sighed. "You two have zero vocab skills!"
"You're bitter, because you're the designated driver and we're not, aren't you?" she asked. She was a talkative drunk.
"Whoa, dude. What does that even mean, "designated"?" The guy in the backseat asked. The two drunken teens talked amongst themselves as he driver did as he was supposed to do. Drive
After a few minutes, the driver saw something fall from the bridge above them. Before he knew what was happening, the skull was suddenly inbedded in the windshield. The car swerved off the road completely.

His hopes were to replace Kirstie Maldonado, but twelve candidates had already failed in the past six months. Forensic Anthropologist Dr. Scott Hoying and pathologist Dr. Kevin Olusola quizzed him anyhow.
"...Male. Mid-30s. Attachment size suggests he was well-muscled, probably due to manual labor rather than, uh, weight training." He said in response to Hoying.
"Cause of death?" Kevin asked.
"The sternal ribs were subluxated, at both the spine and the sternum..." he thought aloud as Special Agent Joe Hobbs entered the platform.
Scott ignored this. "Indicating he was...crushed?"
"Not crushed. Pinned. Smothered? Perhaps in an industrial accident?" he looked at Scott. No response. Joe walked over to Kevin and whispered.
"This is the thirteenth guy Bones has checked out to replace Kirstie..." he whispered. Kevin nodded and raised his voice.
"Cody Krushnic, meet Special Agent Joe Hobbs." Kevin gestured to him but Joe started to speak to Scott.
"Hey, look, Bones, we gotta case, you comin'?" he asked. Scott nodded and Cody tried to butt in as they left and he followed.
"Bones? Hey that's funny. That's what all my friends called me back in colle-"
