2:01- Ashton: Please text back.

2:01- Ashton: Call?

2:01- Ashton: Anything.

2:05- Ashton: I know you told me to leave you alone for a bit but I can't stay away from you knowing you hate me.

2:07- Ashton: You look so sad at school and I hate myself knowing I hurt you...again.

2:10- Ashton: Sabrina agreed to getting a paternity test. I might not be the father.

2:12- Ashton: Remember when you told me you were here to stay? Do you still mean it?

2:13- Ashton: Can we get past this?

"Come on Peyton! You're killing me!"

I turned off my phone and held the controller once again, quickly pressing the button to shoot in attempt to kill the zombies that were now swarming around Trevor's character.

He cursed as his character died and mine was soon to follow.

"Sorry. I've been a little distracted lately," I admit sheepishly.

"I can tell." He reached over and grabbed the remote before shutting off the game and switching it back to regular television. "Wanna talk about it?" he asked.

"It's not important," I lied.

"You're a terrible liar," he said and I sighed. "You helped me feel better through my break up with Carmen. You were there when I needed a friend. Let me do the same for you? It's the least I could do."

My phone vibrated, alerting me of another text from Ashton asking if we could talk.

When Ashton told me Sabrina was pregnant, it felt like my heart had split in two. I broke down in tears assuming the worst: that he had cheated on me. But he quickly told me otherwise.

Apparently during his time out of town a few months ago, he and Sabrina met up and spent the night together...kind of. He kicked her out afterwards when she tried to get him to rejoin the gang.

So he never cheated.

Our night ended with me ignoring him the whole ride home and continuing to ignore him for the past couple of days. I've been putting off talking to him because I'm so conflicted on the situation. No, he didn't cheat on me but could I really be with him if the baby turned out to be his?

"Ashton might be the father of another woman's baby," I blurt out.

Trevor suddenly chokes on the soda he was drinking and I giggle a bit; not quite expecting that reaction.

A few seconds later after he settles down from his coughing fit, he looks over at me with wide eyes. "He got someone else pregnant?" he asks incredulously and I nod. "Damn. What is this? Cheating season?"

"Oh! No, no. He never cheated. This is a girl he was with before we got together," I quickly say.

Trevor relaxes and leans back in his chair. But the look of sadness towards me never leaves his face. "If this baby does turn out to be his...are you willing to stay with him?" He scratches the back of his neck; a nervous tic he has, letting me know he's clearly uncomfortable with this situation.

"Honestly...I don't know. I mean, I could try. But our relationship would change with Sabrina and the baby around. What if he looses feelings for me?"

"Are you kidding?" Trevor scoffed. "You don't see the way Ashton looks at you, do you? He wouldn't turn his back on you Peyton and he's definitely not losing feelings for you anytime soon. If I were you, I would try to make it work. At least for now. You don't even know if the kid is his yet."

He had a point. Nothing is confirmed yet. Of course, me being me, I've been using my overactive imagination to think of the worst possible ways this could end for Ashton and I.

Of course, Bella used this rough time in our relationship to wiggle her little way in between us. Whenever I see her in the halls at school, she's glued to Ashton's side; following him around like a lost puppy. Talk about desperate.

But Bella is the least of my concerns right now considering Ashton pays her no attention. He just goes about his day like she's not even there.

"Thanks for listening Trevor. It means a lot," I say sincerely.

Not to be over dramatic or anything, but his opinion is like a breath of fresh air.

Carmen and I aren't on speaking terms right now, so I can't go to her. The girl I met in dance class, Jo, is still a new friend so I don't feel comfortable telling her such personal things just yet.

Macey is constantly throwing questions at me about mom's baby shower that she's planning, so it's difficult to get a simple sentence in. It's annoying sometimes, but I know her heart is in the right place.

"How are your dads, Trevor?" I ask trying to change the subject.

"Great! Actually, they wanted me to thank you for telling them about that adoption agency. I still can't believe Macey is in foster care, by the way."

"Same here."

After I gave his dads all the information I knew about the adoption agency, they immediately started to look into it. It didn't take them long to figure out that they wanted to adopt Juliet. Months later and they are still in the process of adopting her.

"How is the adoption process going?" I ask. I did a bit of research and it's definitely more than I thought it would be. There are so many steps that need to be taken, before, during, and after the adoption to make sure the child is in a secure place.

Trevor sighs and leans his head back on the chair. "It's tiring, to be honest. There's surprise house inspections and interviews. And my dads have to take these classes. Did you know classes are required for you to take if you adopt?"

"I did. I did a little research of my own," I tell him after he gives me a puzzled look.

"That Juliet kid is sweet. I'm glad my dads found her. I think they were about to give up looking before you gave the name of that adoption agency. But she better stay out of my video games," he says playfully.

"Speaking of..." Trevor smirks before heading over to the large pile of video games he has on his coffee table.

"No more zombies!" I shout and throw his empty soda can at him.

He easily dodges and the can lands on the ground noisily.

"No zombies. I have something better."

He puts the game in and it takes a few minutes for it to load. I groan as I see the main menu of some fighting game pop up on the screen, followed by loud, upbeat music.

"This is no better," I pout.

We select our characters, Trevor smirking all the way. It was clear that he was a pro at this game and like all the others, I was bound to lose.

"Be prepared to get your ass kicked," he says.

"What else is new," I giggle as round 1 starts.

I love Peyton and Trevor's friendship so much. It's honestly so refreshing to write since they never really interact much. Remember to vote and comment.

Also, Happy Easter everyone!
