Baby Problems....

24 hours later

"Everyone, come on in and meet Kendall Rayn Payne!" Liam said, opening the door.

Everyone came in to see the sweetest baby in the world.

"Um, what are you people doing in here?" the doctor asked.

"We want to see Kendall." Niall said.

"I'm sorry, but no visitors can see the baby until we run some tests," the doctor said, motioning them out.

"When can we see it?" Cooper asked.

"We have to run some tests because the baby was born 2 months early," the doctor said.

"What? Why does it matter?" Cooper asked.

"Listen kid, it could be unhealthy!" the doctor said.

"Whatever!" Cooper said, rolling his eyes.

"You are so much like your mother!" Zayn said.

"Can we see Ashton?" Leah asked.

"Not yet. We need to run some tests on her too..." the doctor said, pushing Liam out too.

"What?" Leah asked, worried. As the doctor pushed them out, Leah caught a last glance of Ashton passed out in the bed.

Everyone was waiting impatiently for it seemed like forever. Cooper asked, "Is mommy gonna die?"

Leah teared up. "We don't know, buddy!"

"Coopa" Shawn said. Everyone gasped. Shawn said his first word.

That's when Addison and Harry walked in, hand in hand.

"Hey, we heard Ashton had her baby!" Harry said, smiling.

"Mommy's gonna die!" Cooper cried.

"What!?!" Addy yelled.

The doctor walked in. "I have the test results for the baby...." the doctor said.

"What's wrong with Kendall?" Harry asked.

"The baby's fine!" Dr. Smith said.

Everyone cheered.

"What about Ashton?" Liam asked.

"She is overall fine, but the birth was too much for her. She is very sick, and may need to stay for a little while so we can keep her on antibiotics." Dr. Smith said.

"Mommy's gonna live!" Cooper said, running to the doctor and giving him a hug.

"I had no idea any of this was happening!" Addy said, sitting down.

"Can we see her?" Niall asked.

"Two at a time..."

"Addy, I think you should go with your brother..." Harry said.

"None of my brothers are here..." Addison said, confused.

"Niall..." Harry said.

"What?" Addy yelled.

"That's right. You didn't know...Melanie married my dad and now we're step-siblings...." Niall said.

"When did this happen?" Addison asked, almost mad she didn't know!

"About 3 years now!" Niall said.

Addison was shocked and upset.

"Now, about you and Harry?" Leah asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Oh, we...um...are engaged!" Harry exclaimed.

"I knew!" Louis said, walking in. Lily was just starting to walk, and followed behind him.

"Harwy!" she said, walking up to him.

"Hey, bee!" Harry said, picking her up.

Niall and Addison walked into the room with Ashton.

Ashton just laid there, not saying a word. Her eyes were heavy and her body was stiff with exhaustion. You could tell she was extremely sick.

"Hey, sis!" they both said.

"Where's Kendall?...." she slowly asked.

"She's safe. She's a healthy, beautiful baby!" Niall said.

"Gooooood........" Ashton said, before she passed out again.

The nurse told Niall and Addison to leave as she called the doctor.

Niall started to panic and Addison began to cry. They were worried.

Justin and Taylor, Addy and Ashton's brothers showed up soon after. So did Melanie, Bobby, Ryan, and Blake.

"Is my baby ok?" Melanie asked.

"Which one?" Addy asked.
