Only Time Will Tell...

Birthdays!

“Hey baby!” she said, picking him up.

“What about my birthday?” Cooper asked.

“I love you, too!” Ashton said sarcastically.

“Sorry, mommy, but seriously!” Cooper said.

“Well, what do you want for your birthday?” Ashton asked.

“You promised me a Camaro…” Cooper said, smiling.

Ashton laughed. “You are hilarious!”

“What? You told me you were getting me one…and then Kendall talked!” Cooper said.

Liam laughed. “I think you were dreaming!”

Ashton left and drove to Toys R Us. It was 8:00 at night.

She went up to the cashier. “Excuse me, do you have any mini Camaros?”

The cashier looked bewildered. “Um, I’ll go check….” He said, and then walked away.

Afterwards, Ashton got some decorations and Cooper’s favorite ice cream: chocolate chip.

Finally she got home. Cooper was upstairs in his room, and Liam helped hang the banner that read: Happy Birthday Cooper!

Everyone helped with decorations and Ashton put the bow on his special gift.

“Cooper, you need to come down here!” Liam yelled.

Cooper ran downstairs, before tripping and falling down until Liam caught him. “You ok, Bud?” he asked.

“Yea, I’m just so excited…and I just can’t hide it!” Cooper cheered.

Everyone screamed, “Happy Birthday, Cooper!”

Kendall started to cry. “I got it!” Harry said, walking upstairs.

“So, Cooper. I didn’t get you much, but you might want to see your present…” Ashton said, picking him up.

“Yay, Mommy!” Cooper said. Everyone walked outside to see the mini Camaro wrapped in a huge bow.

“I got you the Camaro you wanted!” Ashton said.

“Mommy, Mommy! Thank you! I love ya!” Cooper yelled, running to the Camaro and ripping the bow off ferociously. Cooper jumped in and automatically knew how to work it.

Shawn was able to walk now, and he stood there with a frown on his face, jealous.

Cooper pulled up beside him, and said, “C’mon bro, get in…” he said.

Shawn hopped in, and they drove around the driveway forever. By the time they finally got inside, all the ice cream was gone.

“Hey, how bout we watch a birthday movie?” Liam suggested.

“Ok, what?” Ashton asked.

“Toy Story?” Cooper asked.

“No!” Shawn yelled.

Liam’s mouth dropped. “My own son doesn’t like Toy Story! This is the end!” he said, almost crying.

“I like Toy Story!” Wyatt said.

“Can we watch Princesses?” Darcy asked.

Niall picked Darcy up and carried her upstairs. It was time for bed. Wyatt followed behind.

Shawn started crying. “It’s time for bed too!” Ashton said, picking him up and taking him upstairs. Quickly, Shawn brushed his teeth and got on his pajamas. Ashton put on his favorite movie to help him fall asleep: Monsters INC.

“Goodnight, Hun!” Ashton said, putting him in his crib and kissing him on the cheek.

“Night, ma!” Shawn said.

Ashton went downstairs to see different decorations. The banner now read: Happy Birthday Ashton!

Everyone jumped out from behind everywhere and yelled, “Happy Birthday!”

“Aw, guys! You remembered my birthday!” Ashton cried.

“Of course. Just because you were in the hospital doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate you turning 21!” Niall said, giving her a hug.

“Well, how bout we celebrate Leah’s too because her and Cooper have the same birthday?” Liam said.

Everyone was trying to be quiet so as not to wake the babies, and after cake, Niall and Leah got Darcy and Wyatt and left.
