Moving Out...

2 weeks later...

"Now don't forget to take the vitamins 3 times a day, and the shot to keep you on your feet at least twice for a week." the nurse said, handing Ashton the medicine.

"I got it, Mary..." Ashton said, rolling her eyes.

"I can tell you're feeling better..." Mary said.

"Yea..." Ashton said, zipping up her suitcase. "Thanks for everything! Tell Mark I said hi!" she said, giving Mary a goodbye hug.

No one knew Ashton was coming home a day before her release date. Ashton wanted to surprise them all. She took a cab home.

By the time she got there, there were boxes outside and a moving truck.

Ashton got out, confused. "What is going on? We're not moving!"

She walked inside. Everyone stopped talking and looked at her. Suddenly they all yelled, "Ashton!"

Leah ran up to her, "You're back!" she said.

"Where's Kendall?" Ashton asked.

Liam grabbed her hand and took her into Darcy's old room. Kendall was asleep in the crib.

"She's beautiful! Why is she in Darcy's room?" Ashton asked.

"Darcy wanted her to have it..." Liam said.

"Why are there boxes everywhere?" Ashton asked.

"Maybe you should ask Leah." Liam said.

Ashton turned around to see Leah waiting in the doorway. "What's going on?"

"Niall and I are moving..." Leah said.

"But...we've been living together for 4 years, and I don't want you to leave!" Ashton cried.

"Ashton, we are adults now! We have kids! We can't live together forever. I have a family now!" Leah said.

"But we are your family!" Ashton yelled.

Leah stopped. "You're right, you are my family, and I love you...but Niall and I need our own place to raise our children. It doesn't mean we won't see y'all every day!" Leah said.

Ashton took a deep breath. "You have a point, I'll still see you...where are you moving?"

"Miami, which is only 10 minutes away!" Leah said.

“Ok, where’s Cooper?” Ashton asked.

“He’s asleep in his room…” Leah said.

Cooper walked in. “Hey guys, what about my birthday?” he asked.

Ashton freaked. “Oh baby, I’m so sorry! We’ll throw the party tomorrow. Leah, call all of his friends. Liam, go get the decorations. I’ll go buy the cake. We’re also getting you a Camaro!” She said.

“Slow down! What am I doing?” Kendall asked.

“Did you just talk Kendall?” Shawn asked, walking in.

“Yea, got a problem with that?” Kendall said, standing up. She grabbed her bottle and threw it at Ashton.

“Ok, does it bother anyone else that Kendall is talking?” Cooper asked.

“Freaky!” Shawn said.

Then Cooper woke up.

(The dream started when Cooper walked in.)

“Mommy!” Cooper screamed, opening his eyes and seeing Ashton.
