“And that was my freshman year…” Ashton finished, “but when I moved, I gained a whole new perspective after I got my braces taken off and got contacts.”

Niall looked at Leah. “I can’t believe you actually dated that jerk!” he said, angrily.

“I was stupid, and we only dated for like a week!” Leah said emotional from the story.

“I still hear the taunting sometimes…” Ashton said, teary eyed too.

Liam was bawling. “I didn’t realize you had it that bad!”

“There was only one person there for me, daddy…” Ashton said.

“And me!” Leah yelled.

“Well, yea, but I meant family…” Ashton said.

“You know what you need?” Leah said, talking to Ashton, “A nice long fun week! That’s what we all need!” Leah said, now talking to everyone.

“I don’t know if I can stay away from Kendall that long…” Liam said.

“Yea, you can!” Ashton said, “Sounds good to me!”

Everyone agreed, and for the rest of the day, planned what they were gonna do. Also, kid arrangements.

That Wednesday

“I’m so excited for tonight!” Ashton said.

“I’m excited for next week! Fun week!” Leah said.

“How do I look?” Ashton asked.

“Beautiful…” Liam said, walking in.

“What about me?” Leah asked.

 “Stunning!” Ashton said.

“My woman!” Niall said. He wrapped his arm around Leah and asked, “You ready to go?”

“Let’s get this over with!” Leah said.

30 minutes later

While Leah and Ashton waited in the audience, “Best Song Ever’ was performed.

Afterwards, the boys came back on stage to accept their award. Liam jumped down, and grabbed Ashton and Leah and pulled them on stage since they were in the front row.

“No, Liam!” Ashton said, struggling from his grip.

“C’mon!” Liam whispered, loudly.

“Thank you for the amazing performance, guys, but you have also won Best Tour and Best Male Group!” Lucy Hale announced as Ashton and Leah got up there.

“I’d like to thank my three kids and my wife!” Liam said.

“Three kids?” Ashton whispered to him.

“Cooper, Shawn, and Kendall…” Liam said.

“Awww!” Lucy Hale said.

“I would like to thank my wonderful wife, Leah, and my amazing kids Darcy, Wyatt, and one on the way for getting me this far!” Niall said.

Everyone in the audience gasped then applauded.

“Niall is mine!” a teenage girl yelled, and ran onstage.

Leah jumped back in Niall’s grip and Ashton held the teen back. Security came on stage and took her away.

One guard whispered to Ashton, “You would make a great security guard!”

Ashton said, “No, thanks, I’ve already got a job!”

After Florida Georgia Line performed, Leah and Ashton went backstage to see the guys.

“Excuse me, Leah Horan?” A producer of the show asked.

“Yea, that’s me!” Leah said.

“I heard you will be staring in Ryan’s next movie!” they said.

“Yea, I am.”

“Well, Taylor Swift just cancelled so will you announce the next performer with Liam Hemsworth?” the person asked desperately.

“My brother? Well, yea!” Leah yelled, then ran to Niall to tell him.

Finally, they were called onstage. Leah wasn’t nervous at all.

“This next performer is one of a kind, and made in the USA…” Leah started.

“She is an inspiration to all of our hearts!” Liam said.

“And not only is she an amazing singer, but she has continued to impress us throughout these many years!” Leah finished.

“So give it up for Demi Lovato!” Liam yelled, and everyone cheered. They quickly left the stage as Demi sang Made in the USA.

“You were amazing!” Ashton congratulated her.

“I only had 2 lines….” Leah said.

“Still!” Niall said, giving her a kiss.
