I was usually found guarding the front of the clan's doors, so I went to see how the guards who were taking my place were doing, before I went off. They were standing in position talking to a werewolf. As I got closer I realized who it was. It was Jasper trying to get in to see his girlfriend, Mailynn but the guards had listened to my orders and were not letting him in. I walked over to hear the conversation and by the time I had got over there he was yelling at them. "Come on! I have permission from your clan leaders!"

"We got different orders from our commanding officer," said Caspian.

"Well then who's your commanding officer because I'd like to..." He started to yell again and then he saw me. "Let me guess, you're these imbeciles' commanding officer?"

"And you have a problem with that?" I asked. " And I prefer that you call my men officers and show them some respect."

He just ignored me," Yeah I have a big problem with it. I want to talk to Mailynn and these idiots won't let me because you gave them direct orders not to let me in. I would like to know why."

"Well I'll leave you here to guess and then maybe I'll send different orders to let you in. I'll give you a hint since I'm nice. It's what you did to Tai (Tie) two days ago," I said as I walked away smirking.

"Hey, wait. I didn't do anything to her. Oh wait," he had started to get confused. I just left him bubbling there trying to think. I was enjoying the night. The stars were bright and they made me think of my family. I didn't know them very well, they were killed by vampire hunters when I was young. Now I was loyal to the vampires. We were each others family and friends. There were more clans than just the vampires, Bloody Fangs. There was the Moon Howlers, which were werewolves. I got along with most of them, but a few, Jasper, I didn't get along with. One of my best friends Kianna was a werewolf. She was always there to make sure everyone had fun.

I smiled at the thought of her. That's right I promised that I would meet her by the park! I walked quickly until I heard a scream. I turned and ran in the direction I heard to scream come from.

When I made it there, which was in record time, there was a lady probably in her twenties struggling in the grip of a man in his forties. "Ugh, let me go!" She yelled in his face. I rolled my eyes. Drunk. I could smell it from here.

"Naw pretty lady. I think sense you slapped me you owe me an apology," he said slurring his words.

"Leave the lady alone Don. You're drunk again. What's this the fifth time this week?" I said leaning my weight on my left leg and crossing my arms.

"You again. Why don't you stick to your own business?" Don said as he held the lady. He growled and the lady whimpered in fear. I sighed closed my eyes.

"You do remember what happened last to didn't listen to me?" I asked. I didn't want to hurt him again. He was a good guy when he wasn't drunk. What alcohol does to you. I'm glad that I don't drink.

"No I don't. I was drunk remember?" He retorted snickering. I rolled my eyes at him. Then before he could do anything I grabbed the lady in his arms, pulled her away, and punched him in the face. It was so hard that his nose started bleeding. 'Great.' I thought. Dang me and my stupid strength. I could feel myself turning and it didn't feel good. Not good at all.

"Lady, I think you should run," I whispered. The lady didn't even hesitate, she ran off like she was being chased by werewolves, not werewolves are bad or anything. Well I mean unless you're a human.

Anywho, here I am trying not to suck the blood out of this guy and dang, I just happened to not take my blood pills. I sighed and growled as the scent of blood grew stronger. By now I was starting to get a major headache and even though I had been trained for these accidents my body just didn't want to walk away. "Don if I were you I would run too," I said looking up. My fangs had started to pop out and my eyes had started to turn red. My vision had started to get blurry and I saw as a blur took off running, the smell of blood slowly leaving. Sighing again I was able to start catching my breath. "Dang, that was too close," I mumbled making sure no one else was there.

After that whole incident I was sure to get a call from our clan leader, but my phone hadn't rang. Well until it scared the heck out of me. "Hello?" I asked after I answered the phone.

"Kyra, where are you?!" Kianna yelled into the phone. I flinched, but chuckled.

"Sorry, I had a bot of a set back. I'll get there as soon as possible," I replied. I heard sigh and the mumble something on the other end.

"Good, but make it fast, I have someone I want you to meet," Kianna said anger gone already. "I think you'll like them." I sighed and smiled as she yelled to a person in the background.

"Alright, see you there. Later," I said.

"Later," she relied and then hung up. I started my walk again towards the park. I started to think about who she would want me to meet. Kianna had been trying to find me a lover for a while, but none of the people she had brought me to meet interested me. I figured I would be forever alone.
