Chapter Twenty Two

"C'mon, just try it on," she forced you. You shook your head, nervous, "I-I'm not doing this."

Mina laughed, "Come on, its just a pretend date. No harm at all, alright?" She gave you a bright smile. You sighed, grabbing the dress, "Fine, fine." You went inside the bathroom, changing.

She waited patiently for you, sitting on your bed. After a few minutes, you got out. Mina gasped, "T-That looks so good on you~" she hugged you. You turned slightly red, "I-I don't know about this..what if Jungkook gets uncomfortable in how short this dress is?" You panicked.

Mina couldn't help but pinch your cheeks, "Chill, from the past years I've known Jungkook, at least when I see him, he always loves girls showing off a little skin, you know?"

You gulped, "I'm too young to get raped, Mina." She couldn't help but laugh, "I see you've moved on from that Lee Sye shit." You nodded, "I-I guess,"

She glanced at the clock, "Jungkook will be here soon, I have to put make up on you." You shook your head, "No, no, no-" she rolled her eyes, grabbing your wrist and forced you to sit down.

Mina took out her make up kit and applied make up on you. Not too heavy, of course.

She looked at your in the mirror, "You're absolutely gorgeous." She gave you a light smile. 

You turned slightly red, still nervous.

why am I even nervous? its just..Jungkook.

Mina took out her curling iron and started tiding up your hair, making the ends have a slight curl. You looked at yourself on the mirror, "I look..different." You looked at Mina. She gave you a wide smile, "Well, to me you look absolutely stunning. So stunning, its gonna make Jungkook's pants fall to the ground." She laughed.

You couldn't help but laugh, "Jeez, I don't think it will."

Your door bell suddenly rang, your eyes widened, panicking. Mina laughed, giving you heels.

"There is no way, I'm wearing-"

"Jungkook is waiting. Better hurry up," she smirked. "I'll be right back," she went out of your room. You slightly started to panic again.

Mina opened the door, "Hey Jungkook," his eyes widened, "M-Mina? What are you doing here?"

"Just helping y/n with her make up, that's all."

He gulped, "M-Make up..?"

Mina nodded, "Yup, come on in." Jungkook entered your house, holding a bouquet of flowers.

"y/n is coming, don't worry." She looked at the stairs, "y/n, get your ass down here!" She yelled.

You gulped, feeling your legs slowly evolving into noddles. You shook your head mentally, walking out of your room. You slowly headed downstairs, trying not to trip because of your heels.

Jungkook's eyes widened, turning bright red.

Your eyes met his, you quickly looked away, getting embarrassed. 

Jungkook looked at you, speechless.

Mina cleared her throat, "I guess I'll just go now." She waved, leaving your house.

You and Jungkook had an awkward silence, he couldn't stop looking at you.
