Chapter Twenty Three

Monday,

Jungkook walked down the hallway, everyone gasped by the look of him. Honestly, he looked like he hasn't slept in days. Junyung walked towards Jungkook, holding his shoulder, "Are you alright?" Jungkook grabbed his hand, pushing it away. He continued walking without saying a word.

Mina walked towards Junyung, "Have you seen y/n?" Junyung sighed, "No, but by the look on Jungkook's attitude, something must've happened."

Mina sighed, "They made a cute couple, not gonna lie. What could have happened though?" Junyung shrugged, "I have no idea, honestly."

You helped your aunt with laundry, placing some clothes in the dryer. You wiped your sweat off your forehead, carrying the empty basket inside the house.

You passed by your aunt who was eating breakfast, "y/n," you turned towards her, "Yes?"

"Shouldn't you be at school?" She asked you. You forced a laugh, "Well, I don't really feel so good, ahjumma. Plus, I missed you so much these past months." You lied.

She smiled lightly at you, "That's sweet, but if you're not feeling so good, why don't you rest?"

You chuckled, shaking your head, "I'll be fine, ahjumma." 

Your aunt sighed, "Don't work too hard,"

You nodded, "I won't," you walked towards your room, aka, the guest room.

You dropped the basket on the floor and dropped yourself on your bed, groaning.

this used to be my room, but after I moved out, I guess it became a guest room.

Your phone started ringing, you grabbed it. 

Your eyes widened,

Junyung :D is calling..

Before accepting the call, you took deep breaths. "H-Hello?" You stuttered.

"y/n, where are you?" He asked, sounding serious.

"Home, why?" You lied, it hurt you, but you had no choice.

Junyung scratched the back of his head, "Did something happen?" 

You sat up, "Nothing, I just don't feel like going to-"

"Don't lie to me, y/n. I was waiting for you and I knocked on your door and you didn't answer."

"I-I overslept." Your voice started to shaken.

Junyung sighed, "That's another lie, I know it is. I honestly thought you wouldn't lie to me. Why are you lying to me all of a sudden?"

You sighed, "I'm taking a break, that's all I'm saying, okay."

"Is this because of Jungkook?"

You didn't reply.

Junyung clenched his fists, "That damn bastard.."

"Junyung, I-"

He hanged up.

You sighed, you felt tears kicking in.

Junyung hanged up, "So what did y/n say-"

He walked away before Mina could finish. "Junyung!" She ran after the boy.

"Junyung, whats going on? What did y/n say?" Mina asked, trying to catch up.

Junyung stopped walking, "She said she's taking a break. A fucking break. And she gets all silent when I mention Jungkook, that damn bastard has to die." He continued walking.
