An Undeniable Feeling <Komahina>

22 - Love Live!

Author's note: So just telling you beforehand that in this fanfiction, Junko won't be bad. She does have a bitchy attitude, but she'll be nice at heart. ^^
Also, I'm going to start writing in 3rd person from now on, but if I need to do it in P.O.V., I'll state it.

Hajime looked at Komaeda with a confused look. "A secret?"

He nodded and walked out of Hajime's room to enter his own. He plopped into his bed and didn't bother changing his clothes. He was just utterly tired, so he decided to sleep without doing anything else.

The next day, Komaeda went to his classroom like usual. Everything was calm and ordinary for him. He went in front of the classroom and heard some whispers inside of the classroom. That was kind of weird, since he would usually be the first to arrive in class.

He peeked through the small rectangular window of the door and saw at least five distinct figures. The only ones he could be sure of were Hajime, Mahiru, and Hiyoko. Komaeda's immediate reflex was to jolt back a couple of centimetres from the door. He gradually became curious of what they were talking about, so he approached himself near the door and leaned his ear against it.

They were talking about meaningless shenanigans, which didn't really catch any of Komaeda's interest. But suddenly, Hiyoko asked everyone something she shouldn't have.

"Hey, don't you think Komaeda's been a real creep these days?"

"What? No, not really." A tall girl with short brown hair said.

"Well... I can't deny it?" Mahiru said with a hint of guilt in her eyes.

Hajime just stayed silent.

"He does seem creepy and well... dangerous sometimes... He just gives me bad vibes!" Mahiru talked once again.

"Hey, that's kind of rude, isn't it? We shouldn't talk about our classmate like that!" The tall girl exclaimed again.

"Hey, that's none of your business, Renee!" Hiyoko snarled at her.

"Oh, is that so!?" She slammed her hand over a desk, making everyone step back.

"I-It's enough!" Hajime immediately intercepted the fight.

"What?? So what do you think about him, huh?" HIyoko put on a serious expression.

Mahiru was hoping that Hajime would go alongside her opinion by putting on a worried look. Hajime, well, he didn't really want to get Mahiru mad at him or anything so he tried siding with her opinion.

"I... Well... I guess he's pretty weird sometimes..."

...

Komaeda wasn't feeling well. He considered skipping school for today...

"Komaeda?"

Komeda quickly looked the person that called his name.

"Ah, Kel? Long time no see..."

A long silence disturbed them and Kel felt really worried.

"... A-Are you crying?" Kel felt bit too intimate when she asked that. "Your eyes... They're glistering..." She slightly tilter her head.

"I-I'm good." Komaeda quickly wiped off his eyes with the back of his hand.

"I have no idea if I can help with this situation... but we can skip school together, if you want." Kel shrugged.
