Chapter seventeen

         Battle for Freedom.

As Suki and the Dragon army flew away many news reporters had filmed the unusual crowd of Dragons which was not of much importance to Suki she just wanted Zack to be with her and not in the hands of the Evil Spirits. But what she didn’t know was that the Evil Spirits had watched and was making preparations but even their preparations wouldn’t work against the many Dragons which would also join mid flight.

As the journey was near its end Suki could see the Evil Spirits HQ and saw their troops.

Suki roared “BE CAREFUL OF THE TROOPS.”

Many Dragons roared back in an answer of “We Understand.”

Suki started to descend and saw something being dragged into the building by two people. She adjusted her eyes and saw Zack was being dragged into the building. Suki roared “ATTACK!” Suki dived down but pulled back when at least ten Dragons set the building alight. Suki started to panic for Zack but she knew she had to focus on getting him and her mother out of the building before it was destroyed. Gracie and the others were all safely outside the building so Suki ordered some of the nearby Dragons to save them. Then Suki dived down into the burning building while the fleet of Dragons started picking off the Evil Spirit troops.

Suki landed in the main hallway which was full of smoke but no flames yet. Suki could hear a Dragon’s pleading cry. Suki began to run in the direction of the cry her lungs burning from all the smoke. Suki burst into an almost empty room the only thing in the room was her mother chained to the walls, floor and ceiling. She looked up at Suki but couldn’t recognise her through the thick smoke. Suki changed into her fire Dragon form.

Lynn growled “Put me out of my misery dear Dragon.”

Suki replied “Now why would I don’t that mother.”

Lynn gasped “Suki.”

Suki laughed “In the flesh.”

Suki started to rip the chains away from her mother.

Lynn asked “What are you doing here?”

Suki growled “They kidnapped Zack and the others mum.”

As Suki tore the last chain away from the wall she heard clapping from the door. Suki turned towards the door and saw Ellik.

He quickly laughed “You may have found your mother easily but will you be able to find that boyfriend of yours.”

Ellik turned and ran further inside the burning building. Suki’s eyes glowed blue as she lost herself to her anger.

Suki growled “Get of here mother.”

Suki leapt out of the room as her mother began to run for the exit. Suki ran after Ellik she quickly caught up with him as he went into a room. Suki smashed her way through the door. The room was on fire and Ellik was in the middle of the room standing next to Zack who was unconscious. He had been hung up by his arms and his legs were chained to the ground. Suki moved closer but Ellik pulled out his gun and pointed it directly a Zack.

Ellik hissed “Don’t move any closer or your friend will die.”

Suki roared angrily and flame poured out of her mouth. Ellik steadied his gun. Moments passed the only noise in the room was the sound of the burning flames.

Zack suddenly moaned and started to wake. When he opened his eyes he panicked at the sight of fire. Then he saw Suki her eyes still glowing blue, her mouth still set alight and her spikes, fangs and claws fully extended. She looked ready to kill. He looked to his side as he felt Ellik’s gun touch his face.
