Unwanted Father

Chapter nine

          Unwanted father.

The man standing in front of Suki was her father. He sniggered “Oh but why not?”  Suki roared at him. He laughed “Trying to scare me are you my baby.” Suki roared “I AM NOT YOUR BABY YOU ARE NOT MY FATHER!” He sneered “Oh Suki baby of course I am.”

Just then the Fantasycar came in through the roof doors. Zack was the first one out a sensed something was wrong simply by looking at Suki’s defensive body language. Zack followed her gaze to see the intruder. Zack shouted “YOU DO NOT HAVE PROPER AUTHORITY TO BE HERE LEAVE NOW!” Suki’s dad shouted “BUT OUT KID I’M TALKING TO MY CHILD!” Suki roared at him and leapt for him. Suki’s dad pushed his hands out in front of him and caught Suki’s mouth before she could bite him. He kept Suki’s mouth open. But he forgot that Suki had other abilities to go with being a dragon. She formed a fire ball inside her mouth and before her dad could moved she released it. There was a giant rush of smoke and a small explosion. The rest of the team shielded their eyes from the flame and smoke that was floating around the hanger. They heard Suki roar with anger. There was another crash and another roar of pain. As the smoke cleared Zack was the first to see Suki standing with weak footing panting heavily. Her father was the same. Max in disbelief said “What he’s still conscious after one of Suki’s flame balls from that close how?” Suki roared weakly at her father. Her father panted “Suki dear let’s not fight like this.” Suki growled “No let’s!” Suki ran at her father claws extended further out of her paws. Suki jumped and landed on her father knocking him over. He lay on the floor helplessly unable to calm Suki he irritated her further by adding “All right then if you want a fight bring it on you’ll lose.” Suki’s eyes glowed a spiritual blue colour like all the other times she’d lost herself to her inner anger.

Gracie whispered to Zack “We’ve got to do something before one of them gets seriously hurt!” Zack whispered “I know but what?” Gracie whispered “You’re the one who comes up with all the plans I was hoping you had one!” Zack looked at Gracie.

Suki roared and flame poured out of her mouth. In seeing Suki’s pure rage state her father quickly pleaded “No Suki I’m sorry please I give in!” Zack shouted “SUKI!” Suki looked round she could clearly hear what was being said it was a matter of if she wanted to spare her father’s life or not. Her eyes soon soothed to their normal colour and turned to her father. She growled “I don’t want you here so leave.” Her father spat “Suki can’t you just forgive me haven’t I done enough.” Suki growled “Do you really expect that after you put me in a coma I would just forgive you just like that… You don’t know what you put me through dad.” Her father asked “What did I put you though then?” Suki growled “I was terrified of anything that moved dad it took me months to get on the proper mend from that dad and for that I will never forgive you.” Her father boomed “SUKI DRAGONHEART YOU WILL FORGIVE ME AS YOUR FATHER!” Suki roared “DON’T ORDER ME ABOUT!” Her father yelled “I WILL DO AS I PLEASE!” Suki roared “NOT IN MY HOME YOU WILL NOT!” Suki powered down. Zack stretched over and pulled her back a couple of steps. He whispered in her ear “Suki not again you’ll be playing right into his hands again.” Suki’s father spat “You boy get away from my daughter.” He ran at Zack. Both Suki and Zack didn’t see him coming. Max shouted “ZACK WATCH OUT!” Zack looked up but was too late. Suki’s father gripped Zack by his neck and pulled him forward. Zack yelled with pain. Suki yelled “ZACK… DAD LEAVE HIM ALONE!” Her father snapped “Not unless you forgive me!” Zack coughed “Blackmail gets you nowhere fast.” Suki’s father hissed “Be quiet boy!” Suki shouted “DRAGON UP!” Suki transformed into dark blue and black time dragon. She flicked her tail at her father sending him off Zack and up in the air. Suki’s eyes then glowed black and a time bubble formed around her father freezing him in the time loop. Zack got to his feet and rubbed his neck. Suki growled “I don’t think I will be able to keep him there for to long… well enough time to get the police here and take him away… Meet my excuse of a father… John Dragonheart.” Zack said “Well let’s hope we don’t have anymore grief from him then.” Suki nodded the sighed. Zack patted her scaly body and reassured “It’ll be fine Suki no need to be worried.” Suki growled “I know but I’m just disappointed in him… Could someone go call the police I can’t leave otherwise the time loop disappears?” Gracie said “I will don’t worry Suki.” Suki growled “Thank you Gracie.” Gracie nodded and used her power to teleport herself downstairs.

Suki concentrated on the keeping the time bubble going. She started to feel light headed. She shook her head and sneezed. Zack picked up instantly and walked over to her. He rested his hand on her scalene neck and asked “Are you alright?” Suki nodded. Zack backed off he could tell she was lying. You could see Suki’s blue and black body glistening with sweat. Zack went back up to Suki’s side and said “Suki you don’t look alright.” Suki growled “Zack I’m fine.” Zack insisted “Suki you’re clearly suffering… release John and let us take care off him.” Suki nodded then slowly made the bubble get smaller. Luke transformed into a golden lion and walked over to where John would land. Suki let her father drop then she too walked over to her father. Both Luke and Suki put a paw on his back. Suki lowered her head to her father’s ear and growled “Don’t try anything stupid or you’ll have two set’s of claws in you’re back.” John growled with anger.

Gracie came back up with some police officers. The chief of police came over and said “Thank You for pinning him down for us… Hand cuff him boys.” Two police officers came up and pulled Johns arms round onto his back. Luke moved his paw and transformed into his human form. Suki kept her paw on his back for a little longer until the hand cuffs were secure. She slowly slid her paw off his back and caught a claw against his side. He squirmed with pain. The chief of police said “He will be put into jail with no trial as it has come to light that he has already done a crime against you… Suki isn’t it?” Suki growled “Thank you officer… indeed my name is Suki.” The officer nodded his head and took her father away. Suki powered down and sighed. Zack came up behind her and said “It’ll be alright Suki … Why don’t we go do something.” Suki suggested “Shopping?” Zack laughed “Sure… anyone else who wants to tag along?” Luke and Max jointly laughed “No Way.” Gracie said “I’ll skip this trip.” Zack laughed “Alright then lets go Suki.”
