Chapter Three

                 The First Day

The next morning Suki woke to the sound of shouting. A voice Suki didn’t recognize said “Ha ha ha you’re done Fantasy Kids there’s know one here to save you now!” Suki jumped out of bed and whispered “Dragon Up!” She turned into an orange and red Fire dragon and then headed towards the door. It slid open and Suki jumped out saying “So that’s why they have me!”

In front over her Max, Gracie and Luke lay unconscious. Zack was also lying on the floor but he was just about conscious.

Suki looked towards her new foe. He had dirty blonde hair and leaf green eyes. He had scars all over his face. His hands were covered by metal gloves with claws at the end of each finger. He sniggered “You… Ha trust these fools to find themselves a fake dragon and put it up against me to see if I’d be scared off… Do I look scared?” Suki growled “No you don’t… But you should be!” Suki formed a fireball in her mouth then flung it at the man. Of course he didn’t think it was real until it hit him sending him flying backwards. He shouted “You are real!” Then he fled but just before he sent a lightning bolt towards Suki. Suki had turned her back to see if anyone was waking up. Zack yelled “Suki watch out!” Zack bravely leapt of the floor and into the path of the bolt just as Suki was turning around to see what was happening.

Zack fell down unconscious just as everyone else was waking up. Suki was shocked that he had saved her. She quickly caught him as he fell. His hazelnut brown hair fell forward over his face. Suki slowly lowered him down onto the floor; she turned him over onto his back. Then she pushed his hair very gently out of his face. After about half an hour he finally came too. Suki was looking into his eyes. Her sapphire blue eyes were glittering with affection into Zack’s hazel brown eyes. Suki said “Thanks Zack for saving me.” Zack said “No Problem do you want to do that shopping now…there’s no need to worry about the price of things we’ve got a lot of money… From us saving the world… From my dad, Daniel Richards… and from are fans for some odd reason!” Suki looked very surprised she said “Okay cool… You’re the son of the famous Daniel Richards, is he still alive… I’ve heard that he met a Dragon just like me… As well as my mum!” Zack looked at her and asked “What’s you’re mum’s name Suki?” Suki said “Her names Lynn why… Is you’re dad still alive?” Zack said “He is but at the moment he’s quite ill and your mum knew my dad very well… My dad was fond of her but apparently something happened …and my mum was killed… She left because she thought it was her fault but it wasn’t it was that Aragog person!” Seeing that Suki wasn’t really looking at him anymore he stopped and changed the subject. Zack said awkwardly “Do you want to go do that shopping now Suki?” Suki looked back at him and said “Yeah sure.”

Later after they had returned from shopping Suki was out on the roof. She thought to herself “I thought me and mum never kept secrets from each other I could understand if it was to protect Shana and Hiro but she could have told me at least!” Zack suddenly came up behind her and asked “Are you alright Suki you’ve been out here for quite awhile now.” Suki admitted “Just thinking!” Zack said awkwardly “Is it about what I said earlier I shouldn’t have brought it up I’m sorry.” Suki said “I wasn’t really thinking about that part of it!” Zack said awkwardly “Oh uh… You’re rooms finally finished do you want to come inside and see it?” Suki said “Yeah sure.” They both went back inside and headed to Suki’s room. Once there they went inside. The walls now had dragons painted on them like her old bedroom, back in China, did. They also had a poster of China, a poster of Wolves and a poster of Tigers. There were two rugs, one of Chinese flowers and the other of Wolves, dotted around the room. There were three shelves which were painted a darker blue colour than the walls. One of the shelves had a wolf statue and at least five Dragon statues on it. As well as some books, the books were all beast quest books, in fact it was all the series of beast quest, they were written by Adam Blade. Suki exclaimed “Wow this is amazing… Oh My God thank you so much Zack!” Suki hugged him. Zack blushed abit.
