Chapter Nineteen
Planning for a holiday.
After about a week when everyone had settled back in Zack had begun to think that they needed a holiday away from the stress of everything. Zack had only started to plan this holiday because he could tell Suki was stressed and in need of some relaxation. After a long period of thought Zack decided to go talk about his idea to Suki.
Suki was in with Shana in Shana’s new room. She was just helping Shana finish of her room when Zack knocked at the door.
Shana shouted sweetly “PLEASE COME IN.”
Zack slowly opened the door and asked “Is Suki in here?”
Shana pointed over to the bathroom and Suki’s head appeared in the bathroom door way. She smiled at Zack who smiled back happily.
Suki asked “What can I do for you today Zack?”
Zack asked “Can I talk to you for a minute or so?”
Shana complained “But she’s helping me.”
Zack replied “I will only take a few minutes.”
Shana objected “No.”
Suki instructed “Shana don’t be rude.”
Shana moaned “Alright big sister.”
Suki followed Zack as he walked out of Shana’s room.
Once out of Shana’s room Suki apologized “Sorry about my sister there Zack I don’t know what came over her.”
Zack replied “It’s alright Suki there was no harm done.”
Suki sighed in relief then asked “So what did you want to talk to me about then.”
Zack began “I no we’ve just got back and all but I can’t help but feel like we all really need a holiday. So I was wondering if you really wanted to go somewhere like Hawaii or Spain or somewhere else.”
Suki thought a moment then commented “Hawaii sounds good I’ve never been there before… I take it we’re bringing the whole group.”
Zack continued “Yes we’re bringing everyone… I was thinking that if we can book it today then we can go in the next few days or something.”
Suki nodded then asked “But for how long?”
Zack notified “I was thinking for a week or two.”
Suki nodded then commented “Two weeks would be better than one but then that leaves the city vulnerable to attack so I guess it will have to be a week.”
Zack agreed “True we shouldn’t really leave the city too vulnerable for too long so I agree with you on that… So then one week it is.”
Suki nodded blankly then smiled “Well I should go tell Shana.”
Before Zack could reply Suki had disappeared back into Shana’s room. He looked around in a daze before realizing that she had gone back into Shana’s room. When Zack finally did realise that Suki had gone into Shana’s room he went and followed her in. When he went in Shana was jumping around in excitement. Suki was laughing at her sister.
Zack asked “So you’ve told Shana?”
Suki laughed “Yes and I bet you can tell that she is excited.”
Zack laughed “Yes I can tell.”
Shana laughed “I can’t wait.”
Both Suki and Zack laughed.
