Suki's departure

Chapter Twenty Four

                Suki’s departure.

Not long after they had all returned Suki got an unexpected visit from Gawain. After being locked in Suki’s room with her for about an hour Gawain told her about the uprising of Ellik’s son Darkus. Suki remember Darkus from when he attacked her and Zack so she started to worry deeply.

A day or two after Gawain had visited Gillima came to tell her that she would have to leave this world to go to Mythicia to train. After Suki had challenged Gillima to a battle to show that she didn’t need the training and had been defeated she agreed to it. She had begged Gillima to let her take her siblings and the rest of the team with her but he had denied her plea.

Suki was pacing around in her room a day before so needed to go when she could hear Zack and the others discussing the matter of the Dragon visits. Suki sighed and quickly exited her room. She headed straight towards the lounge where they would be and she hoped that her siblings wouldn’t be. She hadn’t told anyone the real reason as too why Gawain and Gillima had visited. She had told them that they had come to see if she had been coping with her mother’s departure but she now knew that they hadn’t bought it.

Suki had just rounded the corner nearest the lounge entrance when she heard “Guy’s I really don’t believe that Suki would hide something from us… If she was hiding something she would at least tell me… She hasn’t said anything about why Gawain and Gillima have been here other that the excuse she’s giving.”

Suki’s heart stung. It was Zack who’d just spoken and he was wrong. Suki had been hiding something and it was big.

Max commented “But she’s been acting strange ever since those two visited her… She’s been avoiding all of us… That includes Zack, Shana and Hiro… Whatever she’s hiding it’s big.”

Luke asked “If we ever get a visit from one Dragon it means trouble so what would two dragon visits mean?”

Suki walked round the corner and sighed “Even more trouble.”

Suki looked around she was in luck none of her siblings were present.

Zack, Gracie, Max and Luke exclaimed “SUKI!”

Zack asked “What do you mean even more trouble?”

Suki didn’t answer she just turned her head away.

Zack urged “Suki don’t ignore me.”

Suki notified “I have to leave.”

Gracie asked “Where are you going?”

Suki notified “To Mythicia.”

Luke asked “Isn’t that the world where your mum had gone?”

Suki nodded and looked at Zack as he turned his head away.

Zack asked “Why?”

Suki sat down and explained “Gawain came to tell me about the uprising of Ellik’s son as head of the Dragon catchers…”

Max asked “Who is it do we know the son of Ellik… Do you know who the son of Ellik is?”

Suki notified “Both me and Zack have had an encounter with him before… Darkus.”

Zack exclaimed “WHAT NO!”

Suki continued “Darkus is getting an army together… He’s planning to take out the whole entire population of Dragons on Earth and anyone who is in league with them… He doesn’t know about Mythicia…”

Luke accused “So you’re leaving this world to save yourself.”

Suki continued “No I’m leaving to train myself so I’ll be stronger than I am now so I can defend not just myself but the rest of the Dragons and you all as well.”
