Chapter Nine

Andy Gray

I woke up in a hospital room, I slowly remembered what had happened before I blacked out.

No one was in here, I wore a hospital garment and was lying on the bed with great pain in my leg.

I took my legs out from beneath the covers and looked at the one which had been greatly abused by HIM.

I would have gasped at the look of the damage done to it but I didn't even flinch because I have been through a lot worse believe it or not.

I then think of where Drew could have been right now... I hope he didn't find out about my early records at the hospital. I hope he doesn't learn about my injuries from my past.

Thinking all these negative thoughts I nervously start playing around with my hands, running my fingers through my hair from time to time.

I start having a panic attack, I left from my past to escape it... If he finds out, everything I'm trying to forget comes right back at me like a slap on the face.

My chest hardens and I start shaking. I cough and take my arms and squeeze my chest, I start whimpering and letting out sounds of hurting.

My cries of pain become louder and suddenly Drew enters the room holding a bag of chips, probably from a vending machine.

He looks at the state I'm in and rushes out the door and before I know it a woman, which I was guessing was the doctor because of how she was dessed.

Drew Matheson

The doctor told me to leave the room, I hesitated for a second but she looked at me like it's for the best.

I sighed and left.

I walked into the waiting room and took a seat.

When I first brought Andy here, she was taken away, a nurse told me she would be okay and fainted because she lost quite some blood from her leg... the nurse asked me what happened and I told her about Andy's skateboarding accident. When I told her that, she raised her eyebrows and said that Andy must have had a very bad fall to have had that much damage done to her leg.

And now she was having a panic attack.

Andy Gray

After calming down, another doctor had to come in and give me a few stiches on my leg, she didn't talk to me much, all she told me was her name which was Dr. Vega and that she was here to give me a few stiches on my leg.

After she was done, she cleared her throat, " We called your brother, he's here."

My eyes widened, " Andy, we have looked into your past records from your health card which your brother gave us... We have files of abuse and your injury-" The doctor starts saying.

" Look," I start, " That was my past, it's over don't bring it up... I had a skateboarding accident," I lied.

She shook her head, " I have a tough time believing that."

" Well believe it! It's the truth," I snap.

She sighed and nodded her head, " It's all up to you Andy."

I gave her a confused look, " I don't know what you-" I was about to say but then change my mind and said, " I wanna leave."

" And you will be able to," Dr. Vega replied.

" Now," I say.

" How's your leg?" She asks chainging the subject.

I groan, " It's fine, now let me leave!" I say getting up, but Dr. Vega gently pushes me back.

" I'm sorry Andy, you will be able to go home today, your leg has been treated and is looking better and now we've got it stiched up.. Just take a rest and after a check up in an hour or so you can be allowed to go home," She says gently.

I didn't fight with her, the way she talked to me.. made me want to listen to her.

So I nodded and closed my eyes, in a moments time I'm fast asleep.

When I wake up I feel a warm hand over my own.

I look over to my hand and on top I see Peter's.

" I'm sorry," I say as I looked up at his face, his warm eyes watching me.

He shakes his head, " I'm sorry."

He reaches out to me and hugs me.
