It was quite late in the evening, and Ellie and Poppy were excitedly packing their trunks with clothes, books, and various other bits and bobs. Sam was at work, so they didn't have to worry about him catching them.

"Where are we going to go?" Poppy asked suddenly, realising that they didn't actually have a plan beyond packing and locking the front door upon their departure. "It doesn't say how to get there." Ellie's shrug was the only response for a brief moment.

"I'm sure we'll find a way, we are El and Pops after all," She replied, earning a laugh from Poppy. "But I feel so bad about leaving Sam." She finished, a sudden sadness overwhelming her.

"Ellie! Who cares about Sam? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity!" Poppy scolded her doubtful friend.

"I care about Sam, he's my brother, Poppy! And I know you do too." Ellie said, looking sadly at Poppy.

"Yeah, I do and I know. But we can't pass up something like this, El, I mean think about it." Poppy said in an attempt to comfort her. Ellie merely nodded and carried on packing her trunk. Poppy laughed as she saw Ellie desperately attempting to shove her guitar into her trunk, to no avail. "El, you can't fit that in your trunk, it's too big!"

"What do you expect me to do? I can't take my piano with me, can I?" Ellie laughed before sadly placing her guitar in its rightful place in the corner of the room.

"You ready?" Poppy asked, hauling her trunk up with a grunt. Ellie nodded and followed her downstairs.

"I still don't know what we're gonna do," Poppy began, "How on earth are you going to get-" she was cut off by a sharp rap on the door. They exchanged a curious glance before Ellie approached the door and opened it, revealing a tall man with black hair wearing an odd-looking black robe.

"Miss Persephone?" He had a deep voice, void of emotion.

"That's me," Ellie said timidly, "sorry, but who are you, Sir?"

"My name is Severus Snape," he said, "I'm a professor at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry. I understand you've been accepted?" Ellie nodded, words not being able to be formed.
"Is Miss Roberts here as well?" He asked. As if on cue, Poppy came out from behind Ellie, smiling sheepishly at the intimidating man.

"That would be me." She said.

"Poppy," his voice softened slightly at her name, a flicker of emotion flashing in his dark eyes but as quickly as it had appeared, it vanished. He cleared his throat, returning to his stoic self. "Come with me, you two. I will take you to Hogwarts." Ellie and Poppy squealed excitedly before grabbing their trunks.

"Wait." Ellie said, before grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, scrawling a note addressed to Sam.

Dear Sam,
We'll have already left by the time you read this. Poppy and I have gone to Hogwarts. I know you said it was fake, but we know it's real. This is an opportunity we can't miss. We will return at the end of the school year to tell you all about it. I love you so much, and I'll miss you.
Love Ellie

She placed the note on the counter and took a deep breath before following Poppy and an impatient Snape out of the door. "Now, I will take you to Diagon Alley. Here you will purchase any essentials for school, they are listed on the letter. You don't have to worry about money, I will buy everything." Snape said, his voice still emotionless and direct.

"Oh no, you don't have-" Ellie started, but Snape waves his hand, gesturing for her to stop talking. Ellie and Poppy were struggling to keep up behind Snape, passing by the bustling crowds. They stopped outside an old inn as Snape opened the door and beckoned the two girls to follow. It was 10am, surely it was too early for a drink and the girls hadn't been that annoying. No one spoke as they walked through the dingy pub, nor did they stop to be spoken to. They were simply marched through and exited out of a door on the far end which lead into a very small courtyard, boxed by a brick wall. Snape pulled out a stick, which the girls assumed to be his wand, and tapped the bricks in some sort of coded pattern. As he finished, the bricks began to shift forming an open doorway that lead into the busy road that was Diagon alley.
