"What was it this time?"
"He pushed me." He replied quickly annoyed by it all.
Without sounding like a selfish person after your boyfriend has just stuck up for you, but he totally ignored it all, pretending like it never happened.
"So you hit him?" Lucy asked shocked.
"No." Peter spoke as he sat down between me and Lucy. "After he hurt Soph and shoved me, he tried to get all cocky. That is when I hit him."
"I get you were protecting Soph, but why can't you just walk away?" Susan motherly spoke to him.
"I shouldn't have to!" He snapped to her "Don‟t you ever get tired of being treated like a kid? Besides they always go for Soph"
"Uh, we are kids." Edmund wittily spoke.
Ed's comment made me laugh, which caused a glare from my happy boyfriend.
"Besides Peter with a girl like Sophia what to do expect" Lucy giggled, making me blush.
But Peter wasn't interested in fun and games at this moment in time.
"Well I wasn't always." He sighed putting his hands between is legs; back hunched over. "It has been a year. How long does he expect us to wait?"
I knew Peter was homesick for Narnia. I loved seeing a vulnerable side to Peter once in a while, he had become so emotionless since we left Narnia. I put my hand on his and kissed his check, earning a small smile from him.
"I think it's time to accept the fact that we live here. It's no use pretending any different." Susan spoke as she turned to us all.
As she looked to me, her eye widened in shock and disbelief. I turned around and saw it was the boy she had spoke to earlier. I started to laugh as she glared at me.
"Oh no." She sighs. "Pretend you are talking to me."
She tried to hide herself behind us.
"We are talking to you." Edmund retorted.
"Ow!" Lucy shouted, standing up in shock.
"Be quiet, Lucy." Susan spoke to her sister.
"Ouch! Peter what was that for?" I squealed and rubbed my arm.
"Something pinched me!" Lucy argued to the others.
"Hey, stop pulling!" Peter snapped to Ed
"I'm not touching you!" He snapped back to his brother.
"What is that?" Susan asked.
A train starts moving past. It blew our hair back from our faces.
"It feels like magic." I spoke alongside Lucy.
"Quick, everybody hold hands." Susan grabbed Ed's hand and Peter held onto mine.
"I am not holding your hand!" Edmund yelled refusing to hold Peter.
"Just hold it!" He yells to Ed and grabs his hand.
Next moment the luggage, the seat, the platform, and the station had completely vanished. The five of us, holding hands and panting. As we looked out, we found themselves standing in a cave, behind the most beautiful beach.
I looked towards Lucy and ran taking off my shoes and tights as I ran across the sandy beach to the sea. Looking into the air I smiled and looked towards Lucy, splashing her in the face with the water. She giggled and splashed me back smiling at me. Susan came to us and we continued to have the time of our lives. As I was messing around with the girls, I felt two familiar hands wrap around my waist. Peter turned me around to face him.
"Hey" He smiled and brushed my hair behind my ear.
"Hi" I smiled placing my hands on his chest.
"I am so sorry" He sighed and lean't his head to mine.
"Don't be Pete." I smiled and kissed his lips slowly.
His lips were soft. I had missed his affection to me in the last few months, I loved this boy more than anything and I could not live without him. He grabbed my waist and span me around.
"I love you!" He shouts smiling.
I giggle my head off and I look down to him. He looks towards my lips again and slowly pulls me back down, pressing his lips to mine again. As we pulled away, i felt a huge splash come over me and Peter from the others. I laugh and turn to them. As I look up I see some ruins, Ed follows where I look.
"Where do you suppose we are?" Ed asked
"Well, where do you think?" Peter smiled as he kissed my check, hugging me from behind.
"Well, I don't remember any ruins in Narnia." He looked at the others and then I quickly moved out of the water, racing to the top of the hill by the ruins.
We all run to the top and look around the ruins. I cannot help but feel a sense of homeliness, a sense of my home being destroyed. I looked over the edge and looked down.
Lucy finds an apple and takes a bite and walks to me. As we look around, there are a lot of ruins and boulders that have seemed to be scattered around the place. We walked over to the trees and sat down on the ruins contemplating what this could be.
I turned to Lucy and I platted her hair into a french braid. She thanked me and stood down from the ruins and we followed after the others.
"I wonder who lived here?" She asked all of us.
Susan hit something with her foot on the ground and bet down to pick it up. It looked like a chest piece.
"I think we did" Susan speaks as she looked to me.
"Hey, that is mine" Ed spoke as he saw what was in Susan's hand. "from my chess set."
"Which chess set?" Peter asked as he stood beside me, looking at his brother.
"Well, I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess setin Finchley, did I?" Ed replied laughing.
I stay quiet and look to Lucy.
"It can't be" I speak quietly and ran off, followed by Lucy.
"Soph! Lucy!" They all call as we run off.
"Don't you see?" Lucy says as I move them into positions.
"What?" Peter asks me.
"Imagine walls." I smiled pointing to the direction for them to follow to where I was looking.
"And columns there" Lucy added pointing again.
"And a glass roof." I spoke looking up and then to the High King.
They looked up, then back down again; imagining the great palace they once loved and lived in.
"Cair Paravel." Peter smiled.
