"Are you ready?" Trufflehunter asks Caspian as they walk towards the gather of Narnian's.

The shouts and cries erupted the young princes ears. Sounds of anger, hurt, fear scream through these people's mouths. They all wanted an explanation as to why they lost everything.

Caspian felt accountable for everything that happened between his ancestors and the narnians, even though he did not have anything to do with it.

"I think so" Caspian murmured scared.

As they walked closer the shouts became more directed to Caspian. They blamed him, for his ancestors mistakes.

"All this horn proves is that they've stolen yet another thing from us!" Nikabrik shouts to the Narnian's, adding fuel to the fire.

"I didn't steal anything." Caspian pressed.

"Didn't steal anything?" A Minatour argues. "Shall we list the things the Telmarmines have taken?"

"Our homes!" One of the female centaurs shouted.

"Our freedom!" A faun yelled.

"Our lives!" A few shouted at the same time.

"You would hold me accountable for all the crimes of my people?" Caspian questioned.

"Accountable...and punishable!" Nikabrik snapped to Caspian.

"Ha!" Reepicheep mocked Nikabriks words. "That's words from you, dwarf. Or have you forgotten that it was your people who fought alongside the White Witch?"

"And I'd gladly do it again if it would rid us of these barbarians!" Nikabrik had a lot of anger bursts inside of him, anger turned to evilness and a constant want for revenge.

"Then we are lucky it is not in your power to bring her back." Trufflehunter spoke ultimately defending the helpless prince. "Or do you want us to ask this boy to go against Aslan?"

The Narnians laughed at Trufflehunters comment on Aslan. A lot of the Narnians had lost hope in the Kings and Queen when they left, but when Narnia was going into ruin, Aslan was not there to help. Many went against Aslan, believing he was nothing but a stupid lion that only helped when he wanted too. They believed he did not want to truly help them, there faith altered, making their hearts change into a evil; vengeful manner.

Narnians went against each other and hid deep into the woods for protection. A lot had died in battle fighting against the Telmarines. Caspian understood why the Narnians hated his ancestors and quite frankly Caspian agreed with the Narnians on the part. But he did not understand why they would not trust him. Caspian knew he was nothing like his uncle and would do anything to protect Narnia.

Caspian's strength and commitment was sensed by those with high wisdom, those who did not altar their faith in Aslan, who firmly believed in him.  Caspian would have to prove his compassion towards the Narnian's and he was willing to do so.

"Some of you may have forgotten, but we badgers remember well, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was king." Trufflehunter spoke to the Narnians who had ushered their voices to silence.

"He is a Telmarine!" Nikabrik yelled causing another uproar. The silence broke. "Why would we want him as our king?"

"Because I can help you." Caspian argued, therefore everyone stopped the yelling and listened to the young man. "Beyond these woods, I am prince.

The Narnians all looked towards Caspian intrigued by his words. They had stopped fighting against him and were finally ready to listen to the man.

"The Telmarine throne is rightfully mine." Caspian turned in circles, speaking directly to every single one of them. "Help me claim it, and I can bring peace between us."

"It is true. The time is ripe." Glenstorm, the head centaur spoke coming forward. "I watch the skies, for it is mine to watch as it is yours to remember, badger."

He spoke to his fellow people yet stared at the young boy.

"Tarva, the Lord of Victory, and Alambil, the Lady of Peace have met, and here a son of Adam has come forth to offer us back our freedom." He finished standing alongside the rightful heir to the Narnian throne.

"Is it possible?" A small squirrel spoke excited. "Do you really think there could be peace? Do you? I mean, really?"

Caspian smiled at the small creature.

"Two days ago, I did not believe in the existence of talking animals, or dwarfs, or centaurs." He gushed and looked all around the people. "Yet, here you are... in strength in numbers we Telmarines could never have imagined."

Caspian looked down towards the horn that was attached around his waist. He picked it up and pressed his fingers along the sides of it.

"Whether this horn is magic or not, it brought us together." He spoke and looked back up to the others. "And together, we have a chance to take back what is ours."

"If you will leads us, then my sons and I offer you our swords." Glenstorm spoke as he and his sons lifted up their swords.

Caspian smiled, feeling victorious from his speech with the Narnians.

"And we offer you our lives..." Reepicheep smiled bowing towards Caspian. "unreservedly."

"Miraz' army will not be far behind, sire." Trufflehunter spoke.

"If we are to be ready for them, we must hurry to find soldiers and weapons." Caspian ordered to the others.

As the crowd dissembled Caspian stayed there with Trufflehunter. He turned to the small badger then looked up towards the castle where he once lived and was brought up. He knew what he was about to go through, he knew that Miraz would not go down without a fight. Miraz did not care about Caspian one bit and did not mind if Caspian was even killed.

"I am sure they will be here soon." Caspian whispered.

Meanwhile in the castle Miraz laid awake in his chambers, alongside his wife. He laid awake fearing his own life and what might happen with the Narnians and him. Miraz was no concerned about the sale of his people, he just wanted to be King

He would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.
