CRASH! The glass broke as she slammed onto the floor. It was her. Jordyn. She looked up and grinned. "Solid landing am I right?" Jor stood there, hesitant and scared. "What are yo-you doing here? Are y-you gonna hurt me?" She squeaked out. "I'm here to save you of course, and no, I'm not gonna hurt you," Tiffany got up on her feet and brushed off her black sleek pants. "You see, I don't think creatures like us belong here," she ranted as she moved closer to Jordyn, "We belong free to do what we want, free to be who we want." She gazed at the helpless being before her. She's kinda cute for someone about my age, She pondered. "What are you?" Jor asked as Tiff avoided the question. Jor narrowed her eyes down as the answer wasn't given. Tiffany bent over and broke the shackles that kept Jordyn stuck in place. "You got a name?" She questioned, despite knowing it. "They always have called me 503...I don't remember my real one."

"Well I'm gonna call you Jordyn, that all right?" Jordyn nodded a yes to respond. "Ok so I understand you have wings and used to fly right?" She nodded again. "Well to escape I'm gonna need you to learn how to fly again." Jordyn stepped back and stuttered, "I don't remember. I-I can't do it." Tiffany lifted Jor up, letting her stand. "Never say can't. Can't is just a word that holds us down but can be broken with bravery." Jordyn was confused. She didn't understand why this strange woman was attempting to help her. Looking over her physical being, she wondered what Tiff was. Ghost? Phantom? Shadow? Shadow, that's it. "Hey you with me?" Tiffany asked. A blaring alarm went off, signaling every scientist, guard, staff that someone either broke in or broke out.

Tiffany winced a little, grabbed Jordyn's arm without thinking and jumped out of where she came in. Scientists and guards began to storm her room and watched as the two jumped out. She was still grasping onto Jor but shapeshifted her back to have wings before falling onto concrete. She flew quickly, up, pulling Jor's arm up as they kept slipping. They swooped over many buildings quickly and soon enough they landed on a really tall, grayish business building. Tiffany returned to her normal hybrid form and panted, "You alright?" Jordyn nodded, a bit surprised from the quick actions taken by Tiff. "Good," Tiffany fell to the ground and lied there, staring at Jordyn. Jordyn looked all around her. Seeing the sun again. Buildings. The World. Jordyn enjoyed herself and the mini freedom she just got. She's probably a pretty nice girl, considering the fact that she is one of those bird hybrid specimens as well as that she wasn't too hesitant with me, Tiffany considered. Or she could be just a backstabber. Tiffany made an emotionless face now as she was daydreaming in her mind.

"Th-Thank you-" Jordyn spoke, but was hesitating to finish her sentence, "D-do you have a name too? Or a number?" Tiffany looked at her.

"Number?"

"545."

"Very well. Wait in line like the others." Tiffany stepped back in silence, waiting in a straight line to go back into her cell. Every other number gazed at each other. We are all broken aren't we? That's what we say through our eyes. The line was basically covered in white. They would either wear just white pants and a shirt (depending on the specimen) or white underwear and white shorts. Tiff wore the white pants and a long shirt. She was forced to. So you could see her in case of attempting to escape. She was shoved by the guy behind her. Turning around quickly and reacting with a punch to his face. Guards shoved her back and took her arms, holding her back from any more attacks. I'm sorry. Eyes from all around looked at her. At least 40 numbers ahead of her heard the loud reactions. Tiff's legs got hit hard, close to spraining them, and she was dragged to her room in front of everyone, immediately.

"My name is Tiffany," She smiled and held her hand out. Jor took it and helped her up. "Thanks."

"Have you ever been in a lab?" Jordyn looked a little confused.

"Nope, not really, I just know that creatures like us get treated unfairly in there and don't deserve it. So I save them," she gave a partial lie and stood up straight.

"That's good." Jordyn looked down a bit.

"Hey, let's get you some actual clothes, just hold onto my arm ok?" Tiff extended her arm in front of Jor. She took it and they disappeared in a flash.
