"Sorry I tend to daze off, I don't sleep." She smiled at Jordyn, "You look pretty in what used to be my clothes." Jordyn hesitated to thank her, as if she didn't know what words to say, "Thanks!... So what happened here?"

Tiffany gazed at some of the ripped wallpaper on the walls and ceiling, as well as the cuts and brokenness of the room. "There was..Some bad things that happened too long ago, when I was 16."

"What happened?"

"I kinda... Killed some people," she said in a shaky voice, "It was because... of what I am...They didn't appreciate me or love me. There was my brother and my parents... They died. Because of me.."

"Oh..." Jor responded, feeling sad, and lost on what to say, "I'm sorry,"

"It's alright, they were gonna sell-" She seized her talking. "Never mind." Jordyn looked at her, "What were you gonna say?"

"Nothing."

"Tell me?"

"I will tell you if you know and trust me better."

"I can do that!"

"Of course you can." Jordyn gave Tiff a pouty look to respond to her sarcastic statement. "Want something to eat?"

"F-from something that doesn't come from a tube?"

"No duh. I'm gonna get you something to eat anyway." Tiffany stepped out of her room and walked into what used to be a kitchen. I hope she doesn't think I'm gonna poison her or something. Pfft, but that is kinda expected with some freak like me. Tiffany grabbed bread, peanut butter, and jelly, and made a simple sandwich for her. Jordyn watched steadily as she did so. Why does she keep staring at me? 'It's weird to see a hybrid in daylight, stupid.' Ah right, Tiffany thought as she handed Jor the sandwich.

Jordyn poked at it, confused on how to eat. "Do you need help eating it. Like, do I have to feed it mouth to mouth like an actual bird or-"

"No-"

"You use your mouth to bite the food into smaller pieces so you can swallow. Just try it and you'll get it." Jordyn nodded and bit a piece of the sandwich and eventually taught herself how to swallow. "There ya go." Being fed through a tube is the worst, Tiff thought. It's weird. Guess they never could trust us with food. "So how did you know I was in that one room?" Jor asked through chewing.

"Pure thought and calculations," she winked.

"Oh. You must be smart," she was finishing up her sandwich.

"Yeah. I guess so," she felt a bit awkward with the conversation so Tiff attempted to keep one going, "I like your wings, they are quite beautiful."

"Thank you," Jor smiled at her.

Damn. I haven't gotten a real smile from anybody ever since I escaped. Even if I rescued people, they scowled at me like I was evil.

Brush. Brush. Brush. Teeny was brushing Tiffany's hair and making sure not to hurt her too much. Teeny was always interested in how it would change to black, flowing, and sparkly. "You are awfully pretty Tiffany. One day, if you get released, you should show off your beauty. It could change the way people look at what being pretty is." Tiff nodded a thank you to her and Teeny continued to brush her hair gently.

Tiffany smiled back at Jordyn, "Hey you should show off your beauty to the world one day. Cuz I'm sure as hell it would make a difference."
