Paulit-ulit na sigaw ng utak ko habang madilim ang tingin ko kay daddy.
"Don't you dare curse in front of me Shanti!" Nagbabantang sabi ni Daddy.
"I had enough of your promiscious ways, your recklessness, your abuse of authority, You have disgrace my name over and over again, and this is where I drew a line! You will do what I asked even just this once!" Daddy bellowed, he is scaringly angry. Lumalabas na rin ang litid sa leeg niya sa sobrang galit na pinapakita niya. I can see determination in the way he said it na para bang hindi na siya papayag na tumanggi ako. That face screamed of dictation and I know I can't bend nor ignore his final decision. I know that look, he will see it through no matter what I do. I scan them all and my questioning eyes stayed at Tito Aristel.
"Shanti, I'm sorry dearest, Senator and I decided on it, we just want what's best for you. You know we love you." Mahinahong sabi ni Tito Aristel, medyo lumambot ang ekspresyon ko ng makita ko ang malambing na mukha ni Tito Aristel. I shifted my gaze to the man beside him. Looking bored at the whole conversation. I intently looked at him, he seems to notice my stares and lift his eyes and looked at me.
"What can you say? Do you agree to this crazy plan?" Sarcasm is on my every word. Nakita kong nagkibit balikat ito, and gave me an evil grin.
"I told you to stop, you wouldn't listen. This is what you get." May pangungutya ang tono ng lalaki na lalo kong ikinainis.
"I'm single, so yeah, it's no big deal." anito at muling inalis ang tingin sa akin.

Marahas akong napabuga ng hininga habang pinapasadan muli ng tingin si Tito at Daddy.
"Alright then! Seems like everybody made up their minds and don't seem to asks for my opinion on this. Do whatever you want guys, I hope you won't regret it." I can taste even the bitterness of my own words as I walked towards the door when what dad said halted me from leaving.
"Two months Shanti. I want you married in two months time." That fast huh? Two months. Iyon na lang pala ang nalalabing kalayaan ko. Two months and then I'll be tied up to that guy who I hate to be with.
I faced dad once again. Making him see the anger and bitterness of what he said showed in my face.
"Yes dad. Your wish is my command. I hope that you'll be happy that you made your daughter even more miserable than she already is!" A sarcastic smile formed on my lips.
"Finally you can be rid of me! I know it gives you so much joy that I'll change my name just so yours doesn't stink anymore!" I gave him my evilest smile and continue walking. I heard him shouting at me to come back but I don't want to face them anymore kaya derederetso lang ako hanggang makalabas and then bang the door of the office closed.
I need a fvcking drink!
