There's a war between monsters and humans mentioned at the beginning of the game. You learn later on that countless monster souls were taken, but not a single human soul died. What if the war came just a little later?
The Undertale adventure is different. Frisk is a ex-soldier in the human army who was banished for some reason (treason, perhaps?). They however seek to free six humans who has been caught prisoner. Along the way, they encounter many monsters who they help and befriend. Thanks to Frisk, the war is ended with a peace treaty or something super cliché like that.
