Double Triangles {Completed}

Part 15

Lily's POV:

I can't believe that Hayden actually has proof for once. I snatch the phone from Hayden's hand and start to read the text messages that are displayed on his screen. I'm reading through and suddenly I come across Devin admitting that he likes Amanda. I knew all along but I never expected proof. I guess I just wasn't letting the idea be a possibility in my mind. 

I  feel kind of sad. For a second I forgot that class had started and everyone is staring at us. I slowly look up to apologize for ever doubting what he said. I notice that Hayden's starting to lean in, closer. Eventually his lips meet mine. As soon as his lips barely touch mine I hear a deep, nasally voice start to call out. We both pull away, very quickly. "Now it's very nice that you two are finally accepting one another, and we all think that it's cute, but I will not tolerate any obscene actions in my room." I also hear a foot tapping. I look up and realize that the girl who sits next to me is waiting for Hayden to get out of her spot. We both burn in embarrassment as class continues. 

Hayden's POV:

I'm pretty proud of myself for actually managing to almost score a kiss. My first one, too. I get out of the girls' seat and go back to my own. As class continues, I start to think of what will happen after class. I feel a pencil hit my head. I look towards the direction it came from. I see a disappointed, sneering Devin looking at me. "HAD FUN?" he whisper-yells. I nod yes just to bother him and also because I actually did.

~Time Skip~

It's finally the end of class and I'm planning on finishing what I started. I walk out of the classroom and wait for Lily to come out. Once she does, I take her hand and drag her far, far, FAR away from our class. "What the hell are you doing and why are we so far away from our lockers?" Lily asks. I completely ignore what she said. "So uh, where were we?" Lily widens her eyes. "No way Hayden. There is nothing you can do to stop me fro-" Again, I completely ignore her and pull her closer so that our faces are inches away.

Lily's POV:

I feel Hayden's hands grab my shoulder and jerk me closer, towards him. He looks me in the eye and continues to lean in. We're inches away and I can't help myself. I stand on my tiptoes to complete the kiss. Suddenly my whole body starts to feel like jello. It's almost as if I have no bones to support me anymore. Giving in to the kiss, I accidentally drop my pencil case which startles the both of us. We both jump back from the kiss and go to pick up my pencil case. As we're both reaching for my pencil case, our heads bump. I hear Hayden start to laugh and I do too. We get up and I hug Hayden. He pauses and I take that chance to run away.

Amanda's POV:

"And that's the picture." I smirk as I capture the love-scene. This'll be the perfect way to end Devin's interest for Lily. Then, I get an even better idea. "Hey Tori, aren't you in the school's news paper club?" Tori looks at me with an even more devious smile.
