Training had been refreshing that morning, albeit largely intense.
❝Have you guys seen the new trainee physio?❞ Leon burst into the dressing room, ❝she's pretty hot.❞ An empty bottle flew across the room, striking him on the shoulder. ❝You're a creep, Goretzka,❞ Saed yelled.
The rest of the boys laughed; including Nabil, who always found amusement in poking fun at Leon. ❝Wait, how hot?❞ Max casually asked from beside him.
Nabil chuckled as he headed for the door. ❝On a scale of one to Robert Lewandowski,❞ he heard Thilo's voice just before the door closed behind him.
He wasn't keen on listening about some alluring physio. He had better things to do. The hallways were empty right then, so Nabil took his time strolling to the kit room where his boots needed replacing.
But the tranquil was shattered when someone bumped into him from behind; hard.
❝Sorry!❞ The girl screamed, startling Nabil a second time. The force of impact had caused Nabil to drop the bag he had been carrying, spilling it's contents onto the ground.
She stopped in her spot, about a meter ahead of him. Nabil could tell she was in a hurry, from the way she was panting heavily. Though he was piqued, he brushed it off. ❝It's okay,❞ he didn't bother with a second look.
❝Uh, I'll – talk to you later.❞ She disappeared without another word, leaving Nabil shaking his head at her behavior. He thought it was rude of her. But he was never one for confrontation; off the pitch that was.
So he quietly gathered his items, finally placing his Quran back into his bag.
