My Brother's Worst Enemy

Chapter Thirteen ( Alex's POV )

I rolled over and looked at my window . The sun was just rising and birds were louder then normal . I grabbed my phone off the charger and looked at the time as I do every morning . It was 7 . Once again i'm up to early to be loud . I tossed and turned for about 15 mins. trying to get back to sleep , but ofcourse I was wide awake . I cut the tv on and just sat in my room watching tv til about 9 .Then my stomach got the best me , so I up and went to the bathroom and freshened up before going to eat something . I walked out the bathroom and as I walked past Jade's room I peeked in to see if she was safe . As I walked by I only glanced but when I saw what looked like another person I walked back and took look inside . To my surprise I wasn't seeing things and there really was another person in there with her . That's not even the bad part , the bad would be the fact that it's Jacob . I walked in and rocked Jacob out of his slumber and did the same to Jade . It wasn't a soft shake like mom's do when you have school . I rocked them like I wanted to take they head off they shoulders . " Does anyone care to explain ? " I yelled at the two , who still were still trying to wake completely up . " Explain ? " Jacob replied running his fingers though his hair . " Why you slept in here with my LITTLE sister ? " I yelled back . Jacob looked around the room and trying to see where he was . As if he didn't know he was posted up in Jade's room shirtless . " Chill Alex ! " Jade yelled at me getting out of bed . She shoved past me to the door . " Jacob , can you give us a min. ? Please ." she said gesturing out the door . He nodded and got up off the sofa as he walked out the door she closed the door . " Really Alex ? You make me look so bad . " she said walking in her closet . " I make you look bad , but you slept in the same room as my shirtless friend ! " I yelled but only out of complete rage . " I am in a relationship ! Jacob fell asleep after giving me answers to all my various questions you always avoid ! " she yelled back as she threw some clothes in a bag . " He gave you answers ? What kind of answers ? " She came out fully dressed and a bag in hand . " I didn't ask him much ! Leave me alone Alex ! " She shoved past me again . Walking out the door to the bedroom . " Where are you going ? " I asked following behind her down the stairs . I was still yelling like she was some kind of dog , but either I yell or tear the room into pieces . " Away ! " She screamed and I mean she screamed like it was a concert . I just laughed . Does she really think she'll get far ? She doesn't even know where we are . " Jacob ? " she called from the bottom of the steps . " Yeah ? " he said from the kitchen . " Can you take me back to my side of town , please ? " she pleaded . Now she had a defeated look in her eyes. I couldn't tell if it was tears in her eyes or just that sparkle . Either way I know he better not say yes. " Do you really wanna go back there ? I mean it's really not safe ! " he said trying to tell her no without being harsh . " LOOK , I just don't wanna be here ! I can't deal with staying here . " she yelled dropping the bag and sitting on the last step . This is where I figured the look her eyes was tears . She sat on the step with her head in her hands balling her eyes out . I just went back up to my room , I heard Jacob attempt to get her to stop crying . But I know that's pointless , she dramatic and shes gonna cry 'til he takes her out the house . They can leave , i'm tired of hearing that whaling . I need time to think about my approach on this situation . Was bringing her here even a good idea , what if i'm being paranoid , what if Jacob & I been off the hook . I need a clear head , nothing can go well with cluttered thoughts . I got my phone from beside my pillow and texted Jacob

Me : ' Take her out the house , go bowling or something . I need alone time & shes not gonna stop until she leaves . '

Jacob : ' Ya sure you won't flip out again ? .-. '

Me : ' Sure you'll have on a shirt ? '

Jacob : ' Yea yeaaaa , I'll get her out . "

Me : ' Thanks . '

I rolled over in my bed and tried to sleep . I heard the two getting ready to get the house ! YES ! A little freedom .
