Percy and Annabeth always compete to get their child to say there name first. Their first child, Andrew said Percabeth, citrusy of Leo. They called it a tie. Now that they have another little kid the challenge is back on.

Annabeth was doing dishes one day while their 1 year old daughter, Pacifica was sitting in her high chair eating Cheerios. Annabeth was scrubbing plates, paying little attention to her daughter. Then Pacifica began to speak. "A..." Annabeth dropped the dish she was washing and ran over to her daughter. "Percy! She's going to say something!" She called. Percy slid through the halls in nothing but his socks and underwear. He leaned in closer to Pacifica's high chair. "Say daddy!" He begged. "Or mommy!" They both went back and forth trying to persuade Pacifica to say variations of "mommy." Or "daddy."  "Pacifica, if you say 'Daddy' just once, I'll give you some blue. Candy." "Hey that's bribery! Why didn't I think of that? Say mommy Pacifica!" Annabeth begged. "A...A..." Pacifica said that over and over. "What is she trying to say? Annabeth maybe?" Percy asked. "Pacifica, say mommy!" Annabeth was not giving up.

"A...A... Atina... Atina." Pacifica said. Annabeth gasped. "She's trying to say Athena." "Athena." Pacifica repeated. Annabeth beamed with joy. She picked up her daughter and ran to her room. "Where are you going?" "Nowhere!" "You're not calling your mom are you?" "Yes but it's about something different!" Annabeth shouted from the other room. Then their son, Andrew walked out of his room. "It's not about something different." He said. "I know buddy. I know."
