Percy and Annabeth... and Jason

It all started on a Sunday night. Percy and I were in bed on the verge of slumber. Then the cabin door swung open and there was Jason in the doorway, holding a pillow. "Piper kicked me out." He said. "Percy can I sleep in here?" Percy gave him a tired nod and fell back to his pillow. Jason shuffled slowly to my side of the bed. "Annabeth, do you mind?" I wasn't sure what he was asking but I gave him an awkward stare and started to get up from the bed. I made my movements slow and stiff so he could stop me at any second. He didn't. I found myself on the floor and Jason in my spot wth all his limbs curls around Percy's body. Percy was turned on his side fast asleep. "Thanks for keeping this spot warm Annabeth." Jason said. "It was my pleasure." I said sarcastically.

It seemed Jason was replacing Me. He follows Percy everywhere. I mean what was new but every time I would lerk remotely close to them Jason would just give me an unsettling stare. During campfire I went to sit next to Percy and Jason hissed at me! I let the two be. I sat next to my younger brother, Malcolm. "Hey you won't ignore me will you?" I asked it wasn't until then I noticed he was kissing a tree nymph he's been hanging out with a lot. He noticed me. "Sorry what?" He asked. I groaned and stomped away.

The beach was quiet and still. I touched the water with my finger tips and the water rippled. Then a head poked out of the water and scared me. I screeched. "Percy! What are you doing!?" "Hiding from Jason." He responded pulling himself out of the water and plopping down next to me. "Oh so it's not only me who thinks his clinginess to you is annoying." I said. "Yeah it's a little weird. I love him and he's my bro but I've really missed you!" He said. I was so glad to hear those words. "I've missed you too. Hey so am I sleeping in your cabin tonight?" I asked. Percy picked me up and carried me bridal style. "Absolutely!" As we walked past the campfire Percy pointed something out to me. "Looks like Jason and Piper made up." He pointed to the both of them sucking each other's faces off and Piper pushing Jason onto the ground but still ferociously kissing him on the ground. The sight made me cringe. "Let's go inside before so puke." I said.

I got under the covers. Percy was turned away, already asleep. I stuck my hand up his shirt and rubbed his bare back. (He loves when I do that) I leaned over and kissed his cheek. He opened his eyes and smiled at me. Once I was done rubbing his back I wrapped my limbs around his body, and fell asleep knowing that Percy and Annabeth were back together. We were no longer Percy and Annabeth and Jason, but just Percy and Annabeth.
