"Percy! Hurry up! We're going to be late!" I shouted. "I'm doing my hair!" He shouted from behind the bathroom door. "Hurry up!" I shouted once again. He came out of the bathroom. "How do I look?" He asked. "You look fine. Now an we just go?" I asked tugging on his arm. "Fine? Just fine! Ugh! I have to fix this!" He said heading back into the bathroom. "No!" I shouted. I stopped the door from closing with my foot. "When I said fine I meant like... hot! You look hot." I said covering up my verbal mistake. He peeked his head out of the bathroom. "Are you lying?" "No,no,no! You so look very handsome." I said. He came out of the bathroom and wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. "I'm sorry wise girl. I just want to make a good impression. I haven't seen your dad since I was 13 or 14. I want him to approve of us." Percy said. I snuggled against his chest. "Your getting yourself worked up over nothing. I rarely even see my dad. He would have no real effect on our relationship." I said. "I know. I still want to make a good impression though." Percy said. I kissed his cheek. "You'll do fine. Now let's get out of here before we're even more late than we are."

We got to the restaurant. I saw my Dad sitting with My stepmother Helen at a table. "Ugh! He brought her?!" I whispered to Percy. "Annabeth she's not that bad. The last time I saw her she seemed very sweet." "It's all an act. Just get ready for anything." I warned. "As a demigod that's my job." Percy said. "Just smile and wave." I whispered as we scotched closer to the table. I was the first to speak. I spoke through a fake smile. "Hello dad, Hello Helen." I said. My dad glanced over my shoulder at Percy not even noticing I was there.

"There he is! The famous Percy Jackson! It's good to see you!" Mr. Chase said. "It's nice to see you too sir." I replied. "Hi Percy! You've grown so much!" Helen said. " Your a very handsome young man if I might add." Helen said. "Thank you." I said. Annabeth put on a fake smile even though she wanted to scream. She sat down so I sat down with her. Oh gods. Here we go.

Sorry for not updating. I've been lazy. I will make a part 2 eventually but for now I'm going to take a nap. Bye!
