Kurt walked slowly through the halls, clutching his bag, searching for his class, while he was thrilling with fear of the uknown.
Meanwhile Dan was walking rapidly to his class, trying to avoid every thought.
Was being an actor what he really wanted? Was it worth everything? Would this be a new chapter of his life or just a constant repetition of history?
Fail, they called him. Everyone. He was never enough. He tried, but never succeded. His so called friends always preferred others' company, he always felt a stranger, unwanted and embarrassing. He was never a part of something.
America was a fresh start, but he spent two years almost unnoticed, alone and sad. It was like he didn't even exist.
He worked so hard to be there and maybe it wasn't even what he was meant to do.
He placed his pale hand on the shiny door handle, his fingers wrapping it slowly, and then pushed and opened it.

At the end of the morning set of lessons Kurt couldn't wait to see Dan. He thought about him the whole morning, wondering where he was, what he was doing, how did he feel. Dan had been his constant over the past week, nobody ever cared about him that much. And maybe his mere physical acctraction was turning into something more.
"Hey there" Dan friendly patted his friend's back.
They sat together as always and were just starting to talk about their day when a girl joined them. She was in every Kurt's class and, as Kurt learnt that day, she was very gifted and competitive.
"May I?" Said she, already sitting between them. "We haven't been introduced yet" she added, shaking her tall pony tail, looking intensely at Dan. "I'm Karen"
"Dan" he answered, briefly.
"I didn't see you around today"
"Me neither" the guy replied.
"Well, if we don't have classes together maybe we could hang out sometimes" she said flirty, handing Dan a piece of paper with a phone number written on it.
"Sorry" Dan replied "Smiling embarrassed "Not playing on your team"
"Oh...well" she laughed nervously. "I really have to go right now" she walked away quickly, giving the guys a dirty look.
So, Dan was gay. Kurt thought. It didn't mean anything, of course, it didn't change things, or did it? Just when his feelings started getting stronger, he found out Dan was gay. Did it mean something?
Kurt decided not to bring in the topic anyway, Dan was always very discreet about his private life, he barely shared anything about his past.
Hours passed unbelievably fast, though both of the guys were really tired.
"Sorry, not playing on your team" Kurt said jokingly, imitating Dan. "Good one"
He was now sitting on Dan's bed, next to his friend. He was trying to get Dan to spill the beans, but he didn't know what he would get in return.
"Well, it's true" Dan replied.
"It's okay" Kurt said "I know what that means, though, I've never had a real boyfriend"
Their heads were now getting uncomfotably close. Kurt approached Dan, the butterflies in his stomach flying uncontrollably, it was something strong and never felt for him.
Kurt placed a hand on Dan's one, their foreheads were now touching, he leaned forward one more time, their lips almost colliding.
