They didn't forget the "accident" they just didn't discuss it further. The next day the both of them decided it was better to just delete what happened in the name of their relationship. Things went back to the usual, Kurt didn't stop having feelings towards Dan, but, even if it was hurting him everyday, he hid them. School was harsh, but at the end of the day they both found comfort in each other's words and company. Life was good and autumn slowly turned into winter. Soon it was Christmas time.

Before most of the students left the university and went back home for the holidays, seniors decided to throw what had been defined as "the most tremendous party of all times" on Christmas Eve.

Kurt was taken aback when he saw Dan that evening. His body was wrapped in one of the smartest suits on the market. The soft light of their lamp fell upon him, illuminating his pale skin and reflecting his shining ensemble; making him seem a vision from another world. Kurt had never seen Dan like this, his fringe, accurately straightened, was partially covering his big, profound eyes and his rosey lips were stretched into an insecure smile. Seeing him like that made the shorter boy feel even more miserable.

He faked a smile and offered his companion an arm. Since neither of them had a date they agrred on going together. As friends. Dan felt the need to remark.

When they got in the room was already overcrowded. The light was dim and a disco ball was dangerously swinging over the figures dancing to the deafening music.

"Hey there, Dan" Karen greeted the taller boy with a kiss on the cheek, completely ignoring Kurt.

"Dance with me?" She grabbed Dan's hand and pulled him on the dance floor without waiting for a response. Dan turned to Kurt

"See you later" he mouthed.

Kurt took a sit at the bar counter and started to order every drink available.

Dan was drinking too; he told Karen he would go to the toilet, but he ended up sneaking away and taking several shots; as far as he was concerned he got drunk very easily and that was what he wanted. His life was spinning too fast and he needed a moment of complete and total blankness. Before meeting Blaine that was his routine. It started with once a week, but it slowly turned into every other day and then everyday. Vodka was what he jokingly called his best friend.

"Kurttt" He cried, falling in his friend's lap. "Hey Kurt" Dan started to unbutton his shirt playfully "Are you trying to hook up with the barista?" he was biting his lips and batting his long eyelashes. "Because I have better plans for us tonight" he continued with a wink.

"Dan, come on, you're drunk" Replied Kurt, who, despite all the alcohol he had taken, was not as high as Dan.

"It's time to go now" he said, annoyance in his voice.

"Yes, take me home daddy." Dan moaned, messing up the other guy's hair and taking his collar down.

Kurt accompanied Dan to their room, drunk talking and laughing with him along the way.

"Kiss me" Dan whispered as they entered the room. Kurt's head was in a blur, the alcohol was starting to give his effects. Dan looked sexier than ever.

"What?" he wasn't sure to have heard it right.

"I said...kiss me" Dan's tone was now demanding, he wrapped his arms around Kurt's neck, their bodies touching. Kurt was still reluctant.

"Come on" Dan's hands started touching Kurt's chest, searching for his skin under the shirt. "I want you so badly". Kurt moaned. His last piece of sobriety left telling him that he couldn't do that.

"Your jeans are so skinny. You turn me on" Dan reached the zip of Kurt's trousers, briefily touching his crotch.

Alcohol had now taken over the shorter guy. He took off his clothes, his lips meeting Dan's, brushing, crushing, caressing in a kiss full of angst, rage and demand. Two people meeting but also separating.

The door slammed behind them.
