pitter patter sang the rain

It felt like shattered glass burning sharp pain

Was is seeing it right, or was I insane

For I was one hurt, of many slain

Who did I hurt? Why was I here?

from my eye came a tear.

I was overcome by fear

My memorize are fuzzy, but the pain is clear

None of us were hurting here by choice

"Help! Someone help!" Sang a stronger voice

In the hopes someone would come, and we my rejoice

So we may heal and be joyce

Yet alone we were.

"help" I said through a slur.

"We're in pain! Someone answer"

The voice rang again with fury like fire

pitter patter rang the storm

I missed the feeling of being warm

This sort of slaughter was just the norm

But I was till afraid when they came for us in a swarm

Peaceful, I wanted my life to be

When the came for the people like me

I guess nothing came free

For being alive, this was my fee
