Wanting That Country Boy

That Secret...

We drove up Elk road and went down 360th street out in the country. This was a dirt road with train tracks every two to three miles. We ended up meeting the highway and turned right. 

We continued down the road for about three miles and turned on another dirt road. This one led us to his house. He started out slow on his road then sped up making mud fly everywhere on the vehicle. 

We pulled up in a mud covered tanish ford......you couldn't see the color anymore so it didn't matter. I loved mud so i didn't care about getting dirty.  

''Are we just going to sit here or go inside?'' I asked jokingly.

''We will go in soon....'' He replied with a grin.

''What's the matter? You seem down like something bad happened......''

''Nothing is the matter I'm just scared for what is going to happen...''

''What do you mean? Is there something wrong with me meeting your parents?''

''Yes that is what's wrong because I'm afraid something bad will happen like they wont like you or they will start something...''

''Don't worry I can handle it and they wont try anything.''

He smiles and then grabs me and kisses me. I grab his head and kiss him. He then opens the door and hops out and comes around to my side of the truck and opens the door. 

''Watch your step, there's mud on the side of the truck.'' he told me.

''Oh, am I gonna get dirty?'' I winked at him and he just smiled at me and chuckled. 

''Come on just get out of the truck and get on my arm.'' he laughed and smiled.

''Oh ok'' I replied as I jumped out of the truck and into his arms. 

We walked up to the door and he told me he loved me. I told him I loved him back and to not worry because he was getting tense. 

As we just walked in his parents came up to me saying that I was cute and all that stuff. His mom was nice but very high up while his dad was very funny and asked a lot about me. Logan had sat there and talked with us but he was always looking at the time. His dad left for a little bit. 

''What's the matter? You keep looking at the time with a worried face.''

''Nothing is the matter.....I was just wanting to do something else after this...''

*His phone rings playing Truck Yeah*

He answered ''Hello....hey yeah we aren't going to make it early maybe a little later...''

''What's going on?? Tell me did you have something else planned tonight?''

''Ummmm....Would it be bad to say yes....?''

''I didn't know you had something else planned for the evening.....I wish I knew sooner...''

His dad came in and asked if something was wrong.

''Yeah Logan here had some other plans and didn't tell me.''

He asked if he wanted to let us go and I asked do you mind? He said no you better go anyways because its getting late and I don't want you to miss what ever he has planned!

We started out the door and ran to the truck. Logan opened the door of the truck for me and then helped me in. He then got in and told me to hold on. I grabbed him and got buckled then he started the truck and we went down the road........
