Wanting That Country Boy

Running

I awoke with Logan still sleeping and Lucas looking out the window.

''Whats the matter?''

''It's raining outside.'' Layne replied.

''Great your up!'' Stephenie got up from where she was sitting.

''Logan told us to just leave you asleep but he fell asleep too I guess.''

Everyone laughed and Logan awoke with a jolt.

''Whoa you ok? You look like your about to have a heart attack.'' I asked.

Logan looked confused and then came back to reality.

''Uh... yeah I'm fine..''

''Ok just checking.''

Logan then let his head down back to the pillow. Lucas was just looking out the window once again. Stephanie was on her phone just posting on facebook.

''Anyone up for mud roads?''

Lucas just looked over at me with a horrid face.

''You just keep getting better!'' He smiled and laughed.

''What am i not good enough?'' Stephanie asked.

''No your perfect babe.''

Stephanie was leaning in for a kiss and Lucas just turned away the other direction. Stephanie sighed and then sat back down.

Logan tried to get up but failed. He got up but grabbed the side of the bed.

''Ok whats the matter?'' I went up to him.

''Nothing im fine just tired.''

''Oh ok just checking.....want to go muddin?''

''Good idea how much rain has fallen?''

''Not much.'' Replied Lucas.

''Well.....I dont know......fine just to make you happy.'' He smiled and then grabbed me and pulled me onto the bed.

''We better get ready!''

''What vehicle are we taking?''

''I dont care! I got back seats. So does Lucas.''

''If anything ill sit in the back!'' Layne volunteered.''

''Why dont we take both trucks? Logan and I in his and Lucas you take Stephanie and Layne. Will that work?'' I suggested.

''Yeah that will work.'' Lucas and Logan agreed with me.

I started out of the camper and walked over to the truck. Lucas and Stephanie hid their truck around the corner turn off. Logan got in and told me the route we were going. Lucas was going to meet up with us there. Logan started the truck and we found a mud road that moved out west. Then it curved to the south and then back west. It was a long mud road. We encountered a couple obsticles with the road being too muddy or we were going up the road.

It was 3 by the time we got the the destination and Lucas wasnt there. We looked around and found them stuck on the side of the road. They were already getting help from someone and we just went by laughing at them.

We got back to the camping area with the trucks in a muddy mess. I got out and Logan did too. He grabbed me and brought me close.

''I had fun with that.''

''Me too.'' I smiled at him and bit my lip.

He let me go as Lucas and Stephanie came up.

''What happened to Layne?''

''He wanted to walk so yeah.....''

''So where did you let him off?''

''Oh.....about 1 mile away he knew his way......I think....
