Wanting That Country Boy

Awoken

I awoke with a jolt laying down in the seat in the cab. I looked out the window and I saw Logan and his friends around a bonfire. I sat up in the truck and I found Logan's camouflage sweatshirt around me. I grabbed it and opened the truck door. I looked in the mirror to see if anything was messed up nothing was. I got out of the truck and shut the door. I walked over to the group and they all said hi. 

''Hi?'' I said awkwardly.

Logan got up and hugged me and asked ''Had a good sleep?''

''Yeah how long have I been out?''

''About an hour or so, you fell asleep on the way here!''

''What are we doing out here?'' I asked as I handed him his sweatshirt.

''It was a surprise, I wanted you to meet my friends and now you have!''

Logan pulled up a seat for me and I sat down right next to him holding his hand. He just smiled at me and started talking with his friends. I sat there listening and watching the fire. I was about to fall asleep until Logan woke me up telling me it was time to go home. 

''Noooo....'' I whined a little 

''No come on time to leave and go home.''

''Please don't take me home.''

''I'm not taking you home home I'm taking you home with me.''

''Yay, I'm not going home home!''

Everyone laughed because of how I acted. Logan's friends had left and we were the last ones leaving because he was putting out the bonfire while I helped pick up. After everything was cleaned up and the fire was put out we left and I fell asleep on Logan's shoulder on the way home. 

In no time we were back home and his parents were asleep. He led my to his room and he shut the door. It was 3 in the morning and I couldn't sleep neither could Logan. We stayed up for about 10 minutes outside talking and watching the stars. I was starting to fall asleep due to Logan being so warm. He picked me up and brought me over to his bed putting the covers over me then he went to his side of the bed and got in underneath the covers and snuggling right into me. 

Logan woke me up and kissed me before telling me the bad news......that we had school. I was too tired from last night and just wanted to curl up in a ball and fall asleep in Logan's arms. I got up and got dressed with the clothes that Logan packed for me last night because I was sleeping in the truck. 

After I got dressed Logan was sitting out on the deck. I went out onto the deck to see what was wrong. 

''Something wrong?''

''No just you have to get past my parents.'' 

''That's no problem why are you worried?''

''Oh nothing I'm just over thinking.''

I had walked over to him and put my arms around him. He just smiled and then turned around grabbing me and picking me up. I said now your in a better mood. he put me down and I jumped down the stairs with Logan on my heels. His parents just stared at me and him and greeted us. 

We didn't have time for breakfast but I don't usually eat breakfast in the mornings anyways. Logan stared at the truck and how dirty it was. I just kept walking asking. 

''What's the matter.'' 

Logan replied ''Nothing just the truck is so dirty and I thought you hated that.''

 I just stared at him with a weird look saying ''No I love mud!''

He then got into the driver's seat and then started the truck. I sat in the middle right next to him while looking out the window reflecting on what happened last night. 

''Are we going to do anything like last night again?''

''Yeah, we just do it for fun.''

''Oh, ok....''

''Why did you enjoy yourself?''

''Yeah, I liked it because I got to spend time with you!''

He smiled and put his arm around me and I just smiled back and kept looking out the window.....
