Wanting That Country Boy

We were driving to Logan's house and ready to talk to him parents. Hopefully they take this well.......I had a feeling Logan was going to be in trouble.

''I feel nervous....'' I told him.

''Don't feel nervous, you told me to never be nervous and now you should never be nervous.''

''Ok......it's just it feels like something bad is going to happen,,,''

''Everything is going to be alright. They will be happy.''

I sat there looking down at my hands. The night before was unbearable with my parents. All there was was fighting and yelling at each other. My parents didn't take it too well and wanted me out of their house as soon as possible.

Logan pulled up in the drive and then shut the engine off.

''Ready?''

''Yeah whenever i guess.''

''I can tell you are nervous and really afraid of what is going to happen here...''

''Yeah especially because what happened last night.''

''Hey guess what we made it through one set of parents and i think we can make it through one more.''

I looked up to him and smiled.

He opened his door and got out then i got out his door. We walked up to the door and they opened it.

''Oh my god it's true.'' I heard his mother say crying.

I looked up to the door and there she was crying and his dad with a very displeased look.

''What?'' Logan said.

''Oh so you brought her too just so you weren't going to get the full effect like her parents.'' his father said.

''No we are going to do this together.'' He grabbed my hand and pulled me close.

His father just looked down at us and i could tell he wasn't pleased.

''I see her parents told you before we could.''

''Yeah and now it's time you hear our affect of this great miracle.''

''Yeah i suppose it.....is........wait......did you......did you...just say great miracle?'' Logan asked suspiciously.

By this time i was confused and about to ask what was happening but then his parents embraced us in a hug. I felt awkward and so did Logan.

''Congradulations!'' his mom said to me.

''Ummm...Thanks?'' I smiled confused.

Logan had ahold of my hand and didn't let go.

''We are proud of you! Yeah sorry if you thought we were going to rip you to shreds we were just so excited and wanted to joke around.'' His dad said.

''Oh.......Ummm.....hahaha?''

''Her parents called us and we pretended to be angry with you. But we were actually happy and couldn't contain it that is why i was crying.'' His mom said.

Logan had been tense but now he was relaxed and took my hand and gave it to his mom.

''Oh .....My.....God........That ring is so beautiful!'' She grabbed my hand and looked that ring over and over then grabbed Logan's hand and looked at his.

''How much was it?!?''

''I'm not telling you.''

''Ok then give a range.''

''Nah rather not.''

''Ok fine then leave it at that. You are free to stay here if you want.'' His mom offered.

''Really thanks i just got kicked out of my parents house and now we are thinking about buying an apartment.''

''We can help you if you like.'' His parents offered.

''That would be really nice of you! Thanks! '' I answered.

His parents were taking everything very well and Logan yawned.

I laughed and then asked him if he got enough sleep. He shook his head no while stretching.

''Well, you should get to bed. You have had so much happen!''

''Well thanks again.'' I yelled to them while Logan dragged me up the stairs to his room.
