Wanting That Country Boy

The Worst Awakening...

Logan jolted awake to the sound of gun shots and they were right near the campsite. Logan woke me up and everyone started coming out of their campers. Layne thought it would be funny to awake everyone up with gun shots. 

''GOD DAMN LAYNE!'' Logan yelled. 

''What?'' Layne says laughing.

''PUT THE GUNS DOWN AND GO BACK TO BED!'' Logan yelled back. 

''No we got a full day ahead of us.''

We all went back to bed and got snuggled up again until.....an hour past and Layne had started doing something else. He started scratching the sides of the campers. 

''Layne, I'm going to ask this one last time go back to bed or be more quiet, other wise I'm coming out there and beating you ass. Now your choice.'' Said Logan 

''nah I'd rather not.'' grabs a gun and shoots it off. 

Logan had gotten up and opened the door to the camper and ran out there grabbing Layne in a choke hold. 

I was looking out the window at what was now a fight. I got out there and Logan was now bringing Layne down to his knees. 

''ARE YOU GOING TO LISTEN??'' asked Logan screaming

''NO''

Logan then flipped him over and grabbed his arm twisting it back. 

''AHH. OK OK YOU WIN!'' screamed Layne

''Good hope you learned a lesson.'' Logan said back coming back to the camper. 

Logan then opened the door and came back in. He snuggled right back into my chest and fell asleep. I sat there and just watched him. The most peaceful thing that I had ever saw. 

Logan's other friends had been cheering him on and then went back into their campers to their girls. 

I fell asleep with Logan in my arms and kept him close. 

After a couple hours later Logan had waken up and he woke me up. Nobody was up yet so, me and him decided to have some fun. 

The others woke up after an hour later of us being up. 

Logan had gotten up and found Layne sleeping in a chair drunk. Lucas had gotten up and was getting ready. Riley had been up all night getting drunk and more. 

I got up and got ready with Logan by my side. After I got my boots on I opened the door and Logan came out by my side and grabbed me. Layne had woken up by this time and was talking nonsense. We all sat out in the chairs by the bonfire ashes. 

''What are we going to do?''

''Anyone up for fishing?'' Asked Logan.

I raised my hand and Logan's friends just stared at me.

''Logan you have a keeper.'' Chuckled Lucas ''I never knew a girl liked to fish!''

''Yeah, my brother taught me and so did my dad but not much.''

Logan grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close. I looked over at him and he just smiled at me.
