A tragedy.

seventeen

After we finish eating we throw our trash away and walk out to the car. Tyler opens the door for me helping me in for probably the millionth time.

Its almost one by the time we make it home and Ty has to be at work by 1:30. He quickly helps me out tossing me over his shoulder. "Even though I'm about to be late still cant get those shoes dirty" I giggle.

He runs in with me hanging over his shoulder. Once we get it he lays me on the couch and begins to get ready. After 10 minutes he runs out of our room and kisses me on the forehead.

"Gotta go babygirl but I'll see you later ok?" I smile at him "oki doke byee". He quickly leaves in the car.

I watch tv for a few hours but get bored. I get out my phone and start scrolling through instagram. When a text message pops up from luke. I shrug and decide to answer it.

Luke: hey gorgeous
Me: hii
Luke: whats up?
Me: nm...Ty is gone so I'm all alone :(
Luke: oh really now? Want me to come over and give you some company?

I sit thinking to myself, "thats probably not a good idea" I shrug and reply.

Me: yeah cmon
Luke: omw love
Me: okay

I lay on the couch smiling, nothing is gonna happen between us I tell myself. We're just friends thats it, if he tries anything I'll make him leave.

Half an hour passes and I hear a knock at the door. I get up and walk to it opening the door. Luke appears smiling. He immediately picks me up and pushes me against the wall. "I've wanted this for so long" he says breathing on my neck.

He leans down kissing me roughly, I regrettably kiss him back. "Fuck what are you doing stop" I hear the voice in my head say. But I don't listen and I ignore it. Luke kisses down my neck to my collar bone.

He takes me to the couch and throws me down on it. He goes to pull my pants down. All of a sudden my phone goes off, we both sit up and my heart starts pounding. "You gotta leave" I tell luke.

I run to my phone answering it. "Hey babygirl I miss you so much" I smile "I miss you too babe". "What have you been doing baby?" I frown "just watching tv waiting till its time for you to get home".

"Only a few more hours baby and I'll be home" tears start to form in my eyes "okay I'll be here". I rush luke out of the house and decide to start cleaning.

I feel so awful for what I've done I need to make it up to him. I clean the living room,then the kitchen,then I go to our room and clean it as much as possible.

I do all of our laundry,then fold it or hang it up. Cleaning the bathroom and washing all the towels. I folded them and put them under the counter.

By the time I'm done I have about an hour till Ty gets back. I lay on our bed and start to cry. "Ive got such a good thing with Tyler why would I do anything to jeopardize it?" I say between sobs.

After half an hour the guilt is too much. I go into Ty's drawer and pull out all the pills. Still crying I pour them all into my hand and shove them in my mouth.

I go to the kitchen and grab a glass cup. I break it on the metal trash can and take a shard. I run to the bathroom, everything is starting to get fuzzy so I quickly dig the shard into my arm.

I run the glass up my arm, blood pours down my arm. I fall to the ground the last thing I see is the blood dripping from my arm.

Tyler's P.O.V

I run inside the house eager to see Sky. To my surprise everything is clean and tidy. I smile "god i love her so much". "Sky?" I scream,but I hear nothing.

I start to get worried and go to our bedroom.Thinking shes probably just asleep. I walk in to see the bathroom light on. I smile thinking she must be taking a bath.

when I walk in I see her on the ground covored in blood. "SKY OYMYGOD" I quickly take out my phone and dial 911.

"This is 911 operater please give me your address". I pant "yes please um 2546 green brick road". "please state your emergency" "yes um my girlfriend shes covered in blood and she's unconscious please you have to help me"

"the ambulance is on their way sir please dont try to move her or pick her up" I start sobbing "okay" "now sir im gonna ask you to please stay on the line with me"

I look at sky's fragile body, "why would you do this?" I whisper in her ear.

"Hello is anyone here?" I hear from the living room "yes yes please come help me" I plead. A tall man comes in wearing a uniform. He bends over her and checks her out then says something in his walkie talkie. A few more guys dressed in uniforms come in.

Im shoved out of the bathroom to make room. within seconds shes being placed into the Ambulance truck. One of the guys walk up to me "follow me please you can sit in the front".

Within minutes we're speeding down the road. The lights on and sirens blaring. I pull out my phone, my hands are shaking but I type in Luke's number. It rings twice before he answers.

"Hey Ty whats up?" "Sky is on her way to the hospital She cut herself and I think took some meds" "text me the hospital" and with that I hear a click.

I quickly send him where we're going and put my phone away. Tears have stained my cheeks and shirt. "I just dont understand why she would want to do this" I say to myself.

We reach the hospital within 10 minutes. They rush her into a room, I push my way in and sit in a chair at the corner of the room.

They being in a big tube machine and stick it down her throat. Pumping her stomach for the pills. Two nurses are working on her arm. Stitching up the damage she did.

Everyone is so rushed and im so thankful everything is getting done quick. After the pumping they set her up with IV's and leave the room.

Shes so pale and her eyes have dark circles around them. I walk up to her bedside "I almost lost you" I say aloud. I sit back in my chair and wait for her to wake up.

Sky P.O.V

I wake up to a throbbing pain in my left arm and something in my nose. I open my eyes but everything is blurry. "Tyler" I try to scream but only a whisper comes out.

I hear movement and see a tired looking Tyler appear. My eyes start to tear up and I cant help but cry at the sight of him. "Im so sorry" I cry. He shushes me "babygirl why did you do this?"

I look up at the ceiling "Luke came over and we made out we almost went further but you called and I felt really bad so I made him leave". Ty's face hardens and I can see the anger in his eyes.

"You cheated on me? With my best friend?" I cry harder "y-yes". Suddenly the door swings open and Luke walks in.

"Fuck"
