Thirty

Mikey's p.o.v

I played with sky's hair until she fell alseep last night. I cant believe everything that has happened to her.

It just makes my heart want to break. I love her so much and i just want her to be happy.

I tap on sky's shoulder trying to wake her. After a few tries her eyes open "what mikey" she groans. I scratch the back of my neck "what if you were in therapy? Would that help anything?"

Suddenly she sits up abruptly "what do you mean?" I can hear the anger in her voice.

"I know youre depressed they have medicine for it and maybe you could try it? And if it doesnt work you wont ever have to think about therapy again"

Sky's facial expression hardens "so you think im crazy? So fucking crazy i need therapy?"

My eyebrows nit together "nono not at all i just really ca-"

Im cut off by her hand being brought up to my face "save it Micheal"

With that she storms off out of my bedroom.

"uhg what the fuck" I think to myself.

I decide to get up and go find her "Sky come on where are you?" I stand still and listen for her to say something back

Nothing.

Suddenly I hear the basement door slam and i run over to it. I run downstairs to see Sky shoving something in her mouth and taking a sip of fireball.

"Sky what did you just do?" She just rolls her eyes "what I do best..fuck everything up"

I run over to her and pick her up "no put me down" she says as she tries to wiggle herself out of my grip

"Please stop" I look at her with tears in my eyes. Her expression softens and she stops moving.

I look down at her "do you remember when we went skinny dipping?" I slightly chuckle when i see a smile play at her lips

"I thought you were the most beautiful thing ever and all I wanted to do was be close to you I didnt know i had feelings for you and when it finally hit me all i wanted to do was make you happy now i can't do that if you dont let me in"

She looks to the side "I took 2 Xanaxs im sorry" suddenly her eyes roll into the back of her head and her body slumps

I walk her up to my bedroom knowing she'll be ok if she gets some rest.

A couple hours pass and she starts to stir and her eyes open slightly

"What happened" she looks at me confused "well yoi got upset because i mentioned therapy and hid and took 2 Xanax"

Her stare lowers "oh im sorry mikey" i smile "its ok, but can we please get you into therapy it might help?"

"Yeah i guess But I dont have enough money to even get into it" I chuckle "don't worry about that"

"Tomorrow you and I can go look around and see if we can find you someone you like ok?" Sky just nods

"Thanks for caring so much about me Mikey I really appreciate it"

I wrap my arms around her waist tightly "no problem bug I love you"

I see her wince but she quickly smiles "i love you too"
