Lively, mysterious and bizarre.

What is it?

(🎶Kansas - Portrait)

The angel chuckled, turned around and opened up his jacket a tad bit. (Could it get any cheesier?) It took me while to catch my breath and answer him. I assume this was the reaction he was eager to achieve.

"I borrowed this guy only for this occasion but now I'm thinking about keeping him. This face, the body and the accent is all in one package and it's HOT in here. Surely gets the job done real easy. It would be shameful to waste it."

I didn't appreciate the eccentric way he talked about his vessel. Sure, the guy was serious eye-candy but he was a human too, with emotions, consciousness and a life. He shouldn't drag him all over the world just because he "gets the job done".

The angel explained to me that in order to possess a vessel he needs the consent of the person first. He or she has to have the vessel's say-so or in other words the angel has to be invited before he could occupy the body. Wait, haven't we established this principle the last time? Oh well. Never mind.

Elliot, the man standing behind me with an angelic boost in his system, was an unhappy man and disillusioned of his life. He turned to the sky and prayed for a miracle. He wanted to give his life (roll the drums for dramatic tension, please), true meaning and when my angel friend came along offering him to make Elliot his vessel he said the magic word without thinking twice. I assume this is what faith does to people.

Nevertheless, he convinced me. The man wanted to do good and by letting the angel be contained in his body and giving him the power to operate it he felt useful. Sometimes I wish I could be this convenient for someone.

The angel and I continued our conversation. Okay, he won't tell me about what happened and why is he so interested in me because according to him if I don't know it yet and they haven't told me so far it's not relevant.

Rude.

My role in the grand scheme still remains a mystery, however what I managed to make him spit out was his name. I wanted to make sure he's on our side and for that we had to have mutual trust in each other. Not just that but Bobby will also have a saying in this matter. He was working on a spell to reveal the identity of my saviour, it was only the matter of time to find and trap her. Or him...? Believe me if the angel shows up and refuses to share at least his name he won't stop there, no matter how sure I am in his good intentions.

The name's Sariel.

Now that we've became associates I invited Sariel to join me and shop together. I hated to go alone but nobody ever had the time or patience to come with me so when this opportunity came I grabbed it gently but with sureness by the hand. Yeah, I'm talking about the opportunity, not the angel, sorry to disappoint. Maybe I held his hand. I don't know, it happened so fast. He... uhm... Sariel seemed moved by the offer for some strange reason but he kindly refused. He said he's already wasted enough of my time and it's not safe for any of us to be seen together.

Before he left he asked me not to tell anyone about that he got me out of trouble or this meeting. I'm sensing a reoccurring theme here. If Bobby has to know about us to end his search, then it must be done, but nobody else needs to be informed. Especially not demons or angels. Period.

I promised. Maybe this was a wrong choice but since he gave me his word that he'll stay in touch and answer my calls whenever I need him I owed him this much.
