Without a doubt.
I'm officially exhausted.
Once we told Bobby what's up with Samuel and Ruby he made sure we noticed that he wasn't on the same page as us. He wanted Dean and me to get ourselves together, swallow our pride and get Sam back. The only problem is that there was no pride involved in all of this.
As a matter of fact Sam made a choice on his own, a regrettable one nonetheless and both on Dean's and my account we didn't not contact him because it felt like lowering standards but because it felt like a permanently lost cause. Eventually Sam'll come around, I know it, but not right now. He needs space to think about what he has done. We can only pray it comes sooner rather than later.
In the middle of the conversation Dean literally vanished the same way the angels do. Blink of an eye, boom, gone. No joke. Where did he go? No idea. When is he coming back? No idea. Seems like there is no time to catch our breath after all.
Bobby and I attempted to pinpoint Dean's location and we failed miserably. What do we do now? Ask the angels of course. He kinda disappeared like how those guys do and with no better plan it looked like the right turn to take. However when Castiel didn't answer and Uriel was sure as hell dead we ran out of options.
Something was unquestionably off.
Our last resort was Sariel, the fallen archangel who knows as little about the others' operations as we. A very reassuring prospect indeed. I asked him to get off of his curvy bum and show himself which he did... only it was about 40 minutes later and he didn't knock. He scared the both of us to death. Bobby accidentally shot him with a shooter filled with rock salt and no one has the right to blame the old man. In his defence if I had a gun near me I would have done the same. He thought Sariel was an intruder as did I before I saw his face. The bloody twonk appeared out of thin air right behind me, as if he was asking for trouble. Ah, never mind. You're not here to hear me going on about personal safety, if you were you'd be on a plane.
Introducing Sariel to Bobby could have gone smoother but in retrospect the archangel would have destroyed his good guy image in a matter of seconds anyways. In the end Sariel wasn't a typical angel and not only that but he had bad news for us too.
Sariel said that his brothers took Dean to a hideout, this is where they are keeping him for the time being. They are waiting for Sam to set Lucifer free and jumpstart the Apocalypse.
"Hold up! Isn't that impossible? I mean it's Lilith's job to break the very last seal, right?"
"Didn't you guys get the memo? She is the final seal."
"That's not what we've been told. Oh golly, and Sam thinks he can kill her to stop all this from happening."
"Sorry babe."
That's what it has been all about: Sam embraces his messiah complex, Ruby takes advantage of it, plays each and every one of us, pushes the boy away from his family (including Bobby and me) and he thinks he's being righteous. Bollocks! This is almost as much of a joke as Australian cricket.
I demanded to see Sam and I threw a tantrum when Sariel said he had no intention on helping us. In fact, he had to go. He wasn't joking, boy's gotta ramble. He gave his word to help and yet when I need him the most he pulls the plug.
"You're not going anywhere, chum, until you take me to Sam."
"No can do."
"Yes you can. Don't lie to me! And now that we're on the subject what else did you not tell me? How long have you known about Lilith?"
"I didn't. All I knew for certain is what I told you. The message was clear from the get go. Stop your dear Sam from drinking demon blood. Did you?
"I... I thought we did."
"Babe, believing means little when it's Apocalypse Now."
"Enough of that already. It's done, okay? Just take me to him and I'll explain everything and put an end to this. He will listen, I swear."
"I can't."
"But why? Lucifer will be unencumbered and it means war where we all could die."
"I know."
"Then what? Do you want all this?"
"Of course not! Stop being childish."
"Me ?"Childish"? Woah. Suddenly I'm fighting the urge to slap you, but dung stains."
"I have to go and I have to go now."
"But... what is wrong with you?"
"I'll hurry back, I promise."
"Like you promised the last time, right? Screw you."
He vanished and Bobby was just as disappointed and shocked as I was. If you told Bobby and me a week before this that Sariel would leave us in peril none of us would believe you. And yet he did.

The biggest shock came about 20 minutes later when a planetary sized earthquake shook the ground and a bright white light appeared on the on the sky for a little while. I was outside calling Sam on the phone over and over leaving unchecked voicemails, that's when I experienced this abnormal chain of events. Upon going back to the house, I sat beside Bobby and what I told him was that I saw the Morning Star.
Well, I think this is where we draw the line. Nothing else can come after this.
