See Beyond

Take away this criticizing mind

For it is just making me so blind

Please take hurtful words far from my mouth

That my relationships won't go south

Fill me with love for other people-

Hard to love, genius, dumb, or simple.

Break this heart of stone and shake this pride

And all of us, in love, abide.

Help me to see beyond appearance

And to give everyone a chance.

Hi there! Lately, I find myself criticizing others without even getting to know them. I'm telling you this in hopes that you won't make the same mistake.

1 Samuel 16:7

"...for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

Remember, you don't know what's in the heart of others, They may be smiling, but on the inside they are sad; they may have scars, but on the inside they are one of the nicest people you've ever met! So please try not to judge others. Please pray for everyone and ask God to see beyond appearance.
