"Are you a Christian?" Is what I hear
A little voice whispers in my ear.

Thoughts like this and many other show.
Now I'm thinking I don't even know.

How deceitful is my heart and mind!
How much I want to rewind!

For all the pains and sins I have done
I can't even face God, the true One

     Examining myself only see
All the sins I've done in me

Day and night, it haunts me ev'ryday
In the Bible, God has made a way

Through Jesus Christ, I have now been saved.
On the cross, He died, for us He loved.

Why, o why is my heart like this?!
It must change for the old I don't miss!

Lord, O Lord, I call upon Your Name
And I ask neither riches nor fame

But for You to dwell in me, O Lord.
Help me to believe Your ev'ry Word.

O Lord, please unto me grant Your peace.
Teach me to worship You without cease.

I'm not sure about your spiritual life right now, but if this is how you feel; I feel it as well.
We should remember that our heart is deceitful.
In Jeremiah 17:9, it says,
"The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"
We should remember not to trust ourselves nor others and nor feelings, but in God alone.

I pray that God will grant you peace. Have a blessed day and God bless you! 😌
