Dear Heavenly Father,
a sour thirst I need—
please answer my prayer—
with a heavy greed.
This I ask not for things,
but having more trust
In You, O King of kings;
More love and dead lust.
On my own, I can't do
Because this I know,
I'm alive 'cause of You!
Please help me to grow!
As I live day by day,
my merciful God,
Always show me Your way,
Lead me as I trod.
