Calming Hymns

A quarrel over something so small,

And I'm the one who started it all.

I was angry but also down.

The conflict made me deeply frown.

Out of nowhere, a little thought came:

To listen to hymns, some that are same.

I sat and listened to a song.

Soon, I started to sing along.

Peace and comfort invaded my heart,

"This all happened over a small dart?"

I acknowledged the sin I did;

This conflict I wanted to rid.

I apologize for the sin I've done.

I apologize to him, then the One.

Hi there! As you can tell, I've written this poem from a conflict that had happened recently. It was honestly my fault, and it was over a small thing. To everyone, you should remember the verses:

Proverbs 15:1 "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

2 Timothy 2:24 "The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,"

2 Timothy 2:16 "But avoid irreverent babble, for it will lead people into more and more ungodliness."

Try not to argue and be patient, because God wants us to be, as much as possible, peaceable with all men. Let's pray for each other that we will be more kind, patient, and peaceable with others! :)

Romans 12:18 "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
