One of the things we as teenagers totally suck at, is making good decisions. It takes us literally a billion years to make decisions, let alone right ones. Admit it or not, but it is the truth. I could say this as I had been experiencing it for the past two hours.

After agreeing to come to Nate's party, I had spend what seemed like more than a lifetime staring at my wardrobe. This had never really happened before, as I was usually quick in picking out an outfit. Mostly, because I honestly didn't care alot about the way I looked, but even because, who had the time to waste? But today, somehow, I felt like I had a point to prove. I wasn't sure to whom, since like the whole, school was invited, but I did. Time was moving on real quick, as I could hear the ticking sound of the clock every second, further pressurizing me to make a choice.

I really sucked under pressure.

But if I were to attend Nate's party, I better make up my mind quick otherwise there were chances that I would be late to the after-party too.

If there was one, because as Nate said this was just a reunion. Boy, it's gonna be hilarious when it juat blows up on his face, and this does turn out to be a major party.

"Cameron, Brie's here." I looked around to see my mom leaning behind the door, with her head peeping out of the door. Her head was tied in a bun, with few strands of her brown hair falling on her face. Her glasses were perched on her sharp nose.

"Mom, tell her to come in." I said as I looked at her again taking in all of her once more. My mother, let's just say she was the epitome of natural beauty. She never wore any makeup, with the sole exception of a light shade of gloss, and still managed to look so pretty. But perhaps the fact that she is only thirty-nine has to do with it.

" I already told her, she's just parking her car in front of the garage." Mom said still leaning behind the door.

" Mom, tell yourself to come in too." I said as I let a little giggle escape. My mom walked in and sat down on the bed and looked at me.

" What? " I said as I realised that she was staring at me as if something was wrong.

" Nothing..."

" Mom, tell me. Is there something on my face?"  I asked as I slowly ran a hand through my face searching for it.

" No, there is nothing on your face. Now stop feeling it up.  And anyways, I can't look at my daughter anymore, huh?"

" You were staring, mom. Why was that?"

" Because you have never taken so much time just to chose clothes."

" I can't help it...I don't know why but today everything seems a bit dull, old or worn out. Not good enough to wear." I said while turning back to my disgusting closet.

" Let me help y-"

" Cameron! Let's leave! Wait, please tell me, this is just another nightmare, that you are not ready yet. We can't be more late!"

" You need to chill, it's just a party.  And how do you know I am not ready?"

" Oh, please don't tell me, this is just another one of those nights when you be like, I don't care what people think about the way I dress. "

" It's not, but it's just that I can't find anything to wear, you know.

"Oh God! Let me help you...." Brie said as she pushed me aside with her arms which were surprisingly very strong, and started removing all of the clothes from my closet, until she landed upon a red dress, which I don't remember buying.
