Chapter 10: All Ends

I can't really remember what happened after I killed Ishi. I think Suki woke up and knocked me out. When I woke up I was tied to a chair. Well it's not the first time I've been stuck to a chair... I looked up and saw Rin and Suki waiting for me to wake up.

"...What?" I glared at them. They were just staring at me. "Oh Im just thinking about how cute you look tied up~" Suki winks. Rin giggles. I sigh. "Well... if you're gonna kill me at least tell me how you did it. The murders. The gas. Everything." I looked at them. "We won't kill you!" Rin laughs "We'll tell you everything though." Suki begins.

"So... if you haven't guessed yet... Rin and I are part of a group. This group helped us organize The Detective Hunt. This group... is Ultimate Despair!" Suki grins. Rin claps. Suki continues.

"You weren't supposed to be in this... but Father hired you at the wrong time. The target Ryoma was worried about was Yushimoto. We knew he had a... thing for Rin but we were gonna kill him anyways." Suki giggles. That's right. Suki was the one who killed Yushimoto. So she wasn't lying about him trying to... do that to Rin. But she did lie about her reasons behind killing him. He was the target anyways.

"Father didn't have any idea the real threat was his own daughters! Setting up a game where he would be the trigger!" Rin says in an excited tone. "Speaking of Ryoma... we'll go in order of deaths."

"Ryoma was going to be the one to start the game. We knew you'd be arriving so we waited for you to show up. Once we saw you enter we quickly headed to Father's room. While you looked around, we killed Ryoma. I held him down and muffled him while Rin did the stabbing. I had to set him up though. A little child couldn't do that. If only you went straight to Ryoma's room, you may have stopped all this! Such a shame!" Suki laughs before continuing.

"Once our friends outside started the gas, we did what Yashiro would soon learn. We held our breath. Once the gas stopped we decided to choose Lily, Father's girlfriend for the next target. Flowers need water so we gave her some~!" Suki grins

"Our next target was gonna be Jasmine but that sicko Yushimoto somehow woke up before we could do anything. Still dont know how he did it." She shrugs "Anyways Rin and I split up to find Jasmine's body. I did find it but then Rin screamed. I rushed over and saw the creep trying to undress Rin since he thought everyone was asleep. I chopped him up. He didnt run~ I just murdered him then and there. Made him suffer~~~" She giggles.

"Jasmine ended up taking her own life though so we moved to the annoying analyzer. He was catching wind of who was behind this so we removed his amazing eyes! We were gonna kill Yashiro next but we overheard Amani saying she noticed something odd. Know what it was? It was a lollipop stick that I dropped near his body by accident. She knew so we had to off her. Yashiro had stayed awake and so we had to choose who to kill. Yashiro didnt know yet so we had to choose Amani. We made her suffer by waking her up and ripping her open for being such a useless slut! Besides... Nobody can love you besides me, Azu~~" she blushes as she grins crazily.

"We got rid of Cain next so Erika would fall to despair. Worked like a charm. Didn't expect you'd kill her though~ So skilled~!" Suki praises.

"Ryo would kill Yashiro and... well you know the rest. Caught us killing Ryo, and you ended Ishi." Suki ends.

That was the story.

"Congratulations, Azura Raijin! You have won The Detective Hunt! Your prize? ...Join Us." Rin smiles. "Join Ultimate Despair."

- 2 Years Ago-

Today was the day I started my first mission. Today was the day, I, Azura Otonashi would become the new Ultimate Guardian. Successor to the formed Ultimate Guardian, Sena Raijin. I stood there in my attire awkwardly.

"What's wrong, Azu?" Sena asked me. Mother looked at me "Nervous, hun?" She blinks "N-No it's not that... I was just wondering... uhm... Master?" I asked Sena. She tilts her head waiting for me to ask my question

"Would it... be okay to take your last name? Become Azura Raijin?"

I looked up at her. Sena and Mother looked at each other

She smiles.

-Present Day-

"...No." I declined, glaring at Suki. "I... am Azura Raijin. The Ultimate Guardian. I will never... ever fall to despair again." I answered her. That was my choice. She sighs "What a shame... oh well." The wall blew up behind them, a van waiting for the girls behind it.

"It was a blast seeing you Azu. Let's meet again someday. Okay, cutie?"

Suki went up to me and kissed me on the lips against my will. She gave me a lollipop, winks, and sways her hips as she walks to the van.

Rin went to the van, grabbed something, then brought it to me. "You're gonna need this." Rin waves to me as she put it at my feet. The building blew up again as they left, sealing me in.

Ultimate Seductress my ass. More like the Ultimate Slut. I sigh, spit the lollipop out of my mouth and struggle for a bit before the rope restraining me to the chair broke. I looked at the object on the ground. It was a tazer.

No time to think though. I had to escape. Now.

The underground base was caving in due to Suki and Rin's exit. I rushed to the door I entered through hours ago. I had to open it. It was locked via no power to the electronic door. Then it clicked. I pulled out the tazer and shot at a panel on the door. The open button lit up and I hit it, the door opening and I escaped, the underground building caving in, everything inside being consumed by the earth. I had escaped and lived.

I had to live. For Ishi. For Yashiro. For everyone who died because of Rin and Suki. For everyone who died because of Ultimate Despair. Suki... I'll take you up on the offer to meet you again. So I can have the pleasure of killing you off. And Rin too.
