Rain poured heavily out of the heavens, landing on the black umbrellas that shielded the people below.

Thunder clapped loudly, lighting flashing across the otherwise dark sky as it illuminated the black casket that was being slowly lowered into the earth.

Nathan clenched his fists as he leaned back against the tree he was standing in front of, not wanting to disturb Joelee's family as he kept off to the side by himself.

Nobody had said a single word at her funeral, leaving Nathan to wonder why they even came aside from wanting to make sure that she was actually dead.

Watching the people within the chairs he couldn't help but clench his fists as he realized a few of them were simply on their phones rather than mourning the loss of a life taken too soon.

"It's disgusting, isn't it? They blame her for her parent's and siblings' deaths so they're just here to make sure that she's actually dead." Nathan murmured as he heard someone walk up behind him. Not caring who he was speaking to at this point as he angrily wiped the tears from his eyes.

"It is. She deserved better." Kevin's voice startled Nathan as he turned to stare at the ginger male who gave Nathan a small smile.

"What happened to you?" Nathan questioned as he studied the now clean cut male, noticing that Kevin's once neck length, curls had been shaved off completely.

"My mother happened. She had David kidnap me when I got up to go check on Connor... When I noticed he was gone, I put out the fire and Nyx knocked me out. David took Esther and I haven't seen her since we were initially taken. I escaped earlier today when they were transferring me." Kevin explained while Nathan arched his eyebrows in confusion, scratching his head as he began to put the pieces together.

"Your... Mother... Hold on. You're ginger... Magdalene is ginger... You have the same eyes... MAGDALENE IS YOUR MOTHER?!" The thunder boomed overhead, muffling Nathan's yelled words as he stared at Kevin who sighed in annoyance.

"That's correct. But that's not the point. I don't have much time..." Kevin pulled Nathan closer to himself as he leaned closer to the raven haired male who looked extremely confused.

"You can fix this. If you do this right you can set everything back to how it was... If you do it wrong... Well... Just don't do it wrong. Your watch... Do you know how to use it?" Kevin questioned as he glanced over his shoulder momentarily before turning his gaze back to Nathan.

"Kind of. Carl said he'd send me where I needed to go... Wherever I'm needed. All I had to do was turn the dial." Nathan said as Kevin nodded slowly, pulling an amulet from his pocket as he handed it to Nathan who looked incredibly confused now.

"This is called The Blindspot. Supposedly it's a piece of heavens gate so it blocks Carl's power over Time Manipulator who wears it. You can go back to wherever you want." Kevin allowed Nathan to take the golden amulet, Nathan's eyes widening as Kevin spoke in a slow voice so that Nathan would have time to process what he was saying.

"I can bring her back? I can bring everyone back?" Nathan whispered as his eyes lifted to Kevin who grinned as he gave a serious nod.

"Yes you can. If you hurry... When The Monarch finds out I stole that from them... They'll be after us. Go now." Kevin's eyes flicked behind Nathan momentarily but he quickly focused his gaze back to the raven haired male.

"What do I do?" Nathan questioned as he slid the chain amulet over his head, the cold metal laying against his chest as he stared down at the pearl that lay imbedded into the gold.
